She reads off the slides, the slides are from the text, and you cover a chapter a class. I wish I was kidding, but sadly I am not. It is so hard to follow what she is saying and teaching is unclear. 10/10 take this class if you want to jump off the highest building on campus. Lots of work and very confusing for an intro class. Good luck my guy.

Way to much expected for a 3 credit course. Doesn't answer emails in a timely manner, tests don't match other work assigned. If you're doing the 5yr ACC MBA, find another accounting course and another international course to satisfy the requirements. Getting an A- in the class just was NOT worth the headache.

Dr. Lawrence is, without a doubt, the worst professor I have ever had. Her tests are impossible. She goes through a chapter a class. Be prepared for the 17 chap cumulative final.

Cost accounting is hard as it is, but she makes it IMPOSSIBLE. She goes through a chapter a class, aiming for a 17 chapter cumulative final. Paying attention in class does nothing.. not that you can it's extremely boring. You teach yourself and no matter how much you study for an exam, you won't do well. To all accounting majors, good luck.

She is by far the worst teacher I ever had she is moody and gets mad at the class for not answering her questions since it is almost impossible to listen. You teach yourself the entire book she is useless and should not be a teacher. She provides no examples of how to do the work. This class is time consuming nd almost impossible to pass any test

Dr. Lawrence may be a very nice lady outside the classroom, but she is merciless inside the classroom. For international accounting there was a lot of outside work. Although, it was not too hard (just time consuming), I still don't understand what I was able to get out of it. She demands way too much for a 3 credit course. Don't take her!

She is a very nice lady and the class isn't hard, but it is EXTREMELY boring. The tests are impossible, but they aren't worth much. There is a lot of group projects/presentations and busy work. This class is definitely not worth the effort.

For the most part I had to teach myself from the textbook, but that didn't really help prepare for the tests. It was impossible to decifer what from her extenive powerpoint slides were going to be on the tests. She likes to put a lot of conceptual questions on the tests. Lots of homework, but she usually posts anwers to them on the Angel.

first off yes her powerpoint slides have way to much on them and yes her tests are tough. however she is an extremly nice person and really cares about her students passing her class. she give huge curves on all the exams usually more than 20 points. for our class she even went as far as to lower the requirements for a A from a 93 to a 91

The worst teacher I ever had at the U. I have a 4.0 in ACC and her class was absolutely awful. No need to use so much power point...she skipped through it anyways. NEVER goes over homework. How are we supposed to know what mistakes we're making if we don't review homework? Nice lady. I feel bad that she is such a bad teacher. Absolutely horrible.

Only teaches off powerpoint slides, Tests are unclear, tricky, and UN-PASSABLE! Avoid at all lengths. Currently class Avg is 44% as of exam #2. Isn't willing to explain, rather just tell you the answer & be happy with it. Homework is excessive & is a joke; answers can be copied off of Blackboard everynight.

Such a nice lady, she just gets frustrated becuase she ends up talking to herself because no one is listening. Her lectures are boring, but if you try to participate time goes by faster and she gets happier for it. Tests are easy, yea it's on book material and powerpoint slides but would you rather have the material be on stuff she didn't go over??

Class is easy if you do the work and read the notes, even if she isn't good for much of anything. Reads straight from powerpoints, homework every night (answers can be copied off blackboard), tests are curved and class attendence isn't really necessary. Be prepared to read the book.

Horrible Teacher. If there wasn't an attendance policy, you would not have to attend one class. All you do is learn from power point. She reads all of her notes off of power point, and if you ask me, I'd say most college students could do that themselves. DO NOT TAKE HER FOR ACCOUNTING MAJORS.
