As a close friend of Robynne's, I am sorry to have to inform you of her recent death. Robynne died at 8:33pm on Saturday, September 8, 2007. She will be remembered as a brilliant, passionate and caring woman. One who embodied the principals which she taught. She has touched so many lives in such a positive way, and she will be dearly missed.

Calling all feminists! Your queen is teaching this class! I'm sure she's a great woman, but considering she started the (gender and criminal justice) class by saying "This is not a male-bashing class", there sure was a lot of it happening. Not very helpful in explaining why she gave you a certain grade, and the textbook is completely American.

an amazing woman, and probably the best prof at Carleton. She really tries to make the course interesting for all her students. She is the nicest person that you will ever meet at Carleton U. Great class...take her courses!!!!

Robynne is an awesome prof, probably the best Carleton's sociology department has. She is very fair, and probably the most unbiased and open minded professor i've come across at Carleton. Her classes are very interesting and have an easy structure. Good luck trying to get into them though, they are quite the hotsellers.

I think she is nice, however she does not practice what she preaches(there were alot of discrepancies with her and the TA)We also really learned nothing in her course. She simply repeated the same thing over and over. I was dissapointed with the course, since I was interested in the topic.

WOW! Finally a prof who talks in a language everyone can understand and wants to hear MY opinion. Her classes are pretty easy, but it's because they're interesting and comprehendable. It's nearly impossible to get into her classes,get on it early, they fill up fast!!!

Robynne is a fantastic prof! I was lucky to meet her this year. I had to fight to get into her classes, they filled up so fast... Her courses are always so interesting, She cares so much about her students and genuinely wants them to do well.

She is a little odd...dresses like a clown sometimes, but by far the easiest prof i've ever had. She gives you esasy questions before exams, gives you a review sheet and helps with everything. She likes to hear opinions. I like her!!!
