I found his lectures to be very dry. He picks on students to talk if they sit in the back rows so watch out. Also many of his exam questions are content we barely covered in class.

Comment:

Roger is definitely a great guy. He's kind and obviously very knowledgeable. However, for an extra PSYCH credit, I really struggled with his structure. Lectures weren't very engaging, most were nonsensical group discussion. His tests were HARD and aren't very clear on what to study. Still managed a decent grade but would not take again.

Roger is a very simple prof. He uses an online free textbook. His exams are cumulative but super easy. All you really need to know are his notes. His exams are all 80% multiple choice and 20% written. But that written question is very open-ended. you just talk about what you learned. He does online quizzes that you can redo as many times. TAKE HIM!

He's a nice guy but not good for a intro class. His teaching isn't a way for students to be able to understand cause its so dry and boring. His exams are really hard if you can't memorize everything from the textbook. Basically its a self taught class.

Lectures are boring & dry but makes it easy to understand; must attend for participation marks & handouts. Online assignments are open book, super easy worth 20%. Midterms are cumulative mainly multiple choice but can be kind of hard/confusing even if you study powerpoints & read textbook. Textbook info is usually on test. 3 tests including final.

Great psychology prof. 40% of the grade is for online assignments and attendance, so you just have to show up and that's all. His midterms are fairly easy multiple choices only. I strongly recommend him and would definitely take him again.

Roger is very nice. There are online reading assignments/quizzes that are worth 20% & are kind of tedious, but they helped a lot with studying. Exams are easy if you did the online work & review a bit. Strict about not using phones, tends to repeat things a lot, & can be a bit boring. Overall, a simple guy for an easy, basic intro. course.

Roger is a great professor, he provides clear grading material, good examples, tests are basic and not difficult to do as long as you read his simple powerpoint notes he provides for his class! there are no suprise quizzes and no term papers. He is a simple teacher and i would love to take his class again if possible.

He is really interested in his field but he is not a intro type teacher. His tests are tough after the first because they are cumulative. You get marks for doing online quizes and also assignments which are easy but his lectures are boring.

does online notes and if you study those you're going to get a great grade on the test! He does the launchpads too which is an easy 20% of your grade. Tests were not hard at all as long and you do the launchpad quizzes and read the slides he makes it's super easy. There are no projects and no quizzes in class. I love how he teaches the class.

Best psych prof in kpu imo and classes with roger are never stressful he is HILARIOUS. Major tip (thank me later): attend to his lectures and take notes, a lot of exam materials are based on lecture notes.
