The worst professor I have ever had. I wrote a 4 page complaint letter to the head of the department and insisted I be given a full refund. I was issued a full refund because I believe the school is aware of her poor quality. She should be removed. I encourage you to write the head of the department and ask for her tenure to be removed.

Advani is an OUTSTANDING professor, but even she can't do the work for you! Chemistry requires much effort, and I am tired of hearing students whine about Advani. If you work hard in her class, you will learn chemistry so well and be thankful that she was your teacher. Work hard, stop complaining, and you will also get an A.

Mrs Advani was my favorite Chemistry teacher. I guess I am one of the people who was on the same wavelength as her in terms of understanding and absorbing the material when she taught it. I first took Mrs. Advani's class in Fall 2006. I knew what I was getting into because I heard the stories. Yes, she did ramble on about nothing, I wasted $180.00 on a book that was used 5 times during both semesters, and yes she does pull you out into the hallway to talk about nothing... However, I was one of her "favorites"... so that's all folks!

I believe she suffered from some type of early dementia. Extremely scatter-brained and illogical, jumping from one off-topic to the next off-topic, then making numerous mistakes whenever she flipped back to Chemistry. Berated the students constantly for no reason, threatened to "lock out" any late arrivals, picked favorites, etc. Good riddance.

I listed high textbook usage because if you don't read the textbooks and just listen to her babel you WILL fail. Her lectures are useless. After reading the book the night before and breezing through sample problems, and then listening to her for 2 hours, I became more confused than I had been before. Thank god she is gone.

had to drop the class not due to the teacher but due to the administrations placement guidelines. they said u could take the class if u were currently enrolled in math 95. however u needed to know formulas that you would not know until AFTER FINISHING math 95. i dropped the class and filed a complaint about the prereq's. after getting an A in math i'm sure i could retake this class with the same teacher and do very well. she is not hard to understand if you just pay attention.

She is a horrible teacher. She is next to impossible to understand and is constantly rambling on about unrelated topics. She will stop class to take students in the hall to have converstions with them that have nothing to do with chemistry. She is infamous for picking favorites.
