International Economics is an amazing subject to study, but Jones cannot deliver a lecture to save his life. The book lays it out clearly, but he never uses it in class. If he doesn't finish what he wants to cover, you must learn it on your own (which is how it ends up the majority of the time). Hello to my first B in an econ class.

Brilliant man, awful teacher. Lectures consist of him telling pointless stories about his various travels I overheard a conversation with him and a student: "I'm teaching intl econ next year... maybe I'll get it right one of these years." That sums it up really. To do well, read the textbook and pray that the rest of the class is as lost as you are

very knowlegeable (he wrote the book). the class is fairly easy if you go to the lectures and read the chapters in the book at least once before the exam. his stories are interesting, but he tends to repeat them. take this class if you are interested in international trade, or the rest of your schedule is very demanding and you need some balance!
