Ron was a great instructor. Puts real life examples into lectures. If you don't put forth effort to study, you will likely struggle. Exams get easier throughout the course. (Material becomes more interesting)

Tamborini was a really good professor! He gave interesting lectures and I never had a problem paying attention. He's very straight-forward and his lectures are definitely worth knowing and relevant.

Comment:

Gives really interesting lectures, and is always engaged with the class. A really happy guy with a good outlook on life. Easy to listen to, and enjoys what he is doing. I never minded showing up to his class, since most of his lectures were worth the listen.

Possibly one of my favorite professors! Lectures are always interesting. He makes the test very easy to study for. Funny, kind, and all around great professor!!! Makes the subject fun and interesting! There are pop writing assignments, but if you always go to class you'll be fine. The research activities were very fun too.

He kinda drags on in his lectures. He doesn't post his lectures online so you have to go to class. If you only write down the yellow stuff, your golden. I would just listen to my music and write down the notes in class. Tests are easy if you study.

I don't know why he's not rated higher. His classes are fun and he's enthusiastic and full of knowledge about the subject. His lectures are organized and put together well. The tests are extremely easy if you take notes, study with flash cards and memorize a couple of mnemonic devices. I never opened the book and I dstill got an excellent grade.

This class is hard, but if you show up to every class and study it is possible to get a 4.0. I really liked Dr. Tamborini, he is funny and laid back. You have to do case studies every week but they really help you understand the concepts and help you prepare for the tests.

Ron tries really hard to be funny. He's a super nice guy and you have to appreciate the effort he puts into his lectures. You can tell he really wants you to understand, but the class is hard and the material isn't easy. Must attend lectures and study if you want to pass. READ THE BOOK

Ron tries really hard to be funny, and you've got to appreciate his efforts. As a prof I think he's good, it's just the course that's hard. Be prepared to take tons of notes, and a highlighter doesn't go amiss either.

Very challenging class. Tamborini seems like a pretty cool dude, but a terrible professor. Lots of pointless case studies and reading. Half the time he would teach the class a concept, and then tell us he taught the wrong thing. You MUST attend class in order to get a passing grade. Only good part is that there are a few hottie TAs.

Aweful! All you do is write notes off the PowerPoint screen. Completely pointless when he could easily posts these notes online like most normal instructors. Nearly impossible to get an A and no fun class activities, media examples (videos, etc.); we don't even get to watch a single movie in this class. Tries to trick you on his test!

Avoid this professor at all costs. Stay an extra semester at State if you have to... it will be time well spent. All my friends who took 200 with him failed. He's boring and his exams aren't reflective of your knowledge.
