Droste is a genius. He expects a lot, he doesn't spoon feed anyone. I believe this course is how engineering courses should be taught: you learn the basis and in the end you should be able to apply that knowledge. Droste's exam are hard, by no means are you supposed to regurgitate anything you've learnt, you use the basis and solve whatever problem

Droste is totally the man. So what, he doesn't spoon feed**** to you! Suck it up. I just feel like he is a genious and I learn by osmosis whenever he is in the same room as me. He has no organization but get used to it. Smart people don't. When has he ever refused to answer a question no matter how dumb you think it might be?

Whatever he says comes in from one ear and comes out the other within seconds.He's notes are TERRIBLE!Total of 10 super hard assignments worth 6%...Useless! Maybe if he spent more time on his class notes and teaching, than he does in smoking...he might just be a reasonable man.

Droste writes a mean exam and, yes theres assignments every week; however, this is because he actually wants you to learn something. This man is hilarious in his own way, and if you see him outside of class, quite possibly the most helpful professor there is. Drostey is like the mean math teacher you're always thankful you had.

Here's how I see Droste: - a very nice prof outside of class (VERY nice!), VERY bad at teaching in class, terrible notes, handouts should be made available to purchase at the damn photocopy shop! I don't have the ink to prink 100 pages at home!!! UNFAIR final (compared to past semester's... trust me...).. overall... he's too disciplined and strict!

He is a nice guy and very helpfull, but he is kind of a prof, who wants u to know every single word of the book. HIs mid-terms and final were both hard and long. Cr. Droste has a clear voice and above average teaching ability but the course is way too tough and WAY overloaded with work. Every week there is an assignment and a lab report due, each worth less than 1%. Both midterms were extremely difficult despite being open book. This class was a pain.

The meanest prof in the UO. My friend broke his hand and informed him face 2 face 2 weeks prior mid-term day, he said it's ok but then suddenly change mind on the mid-term day. Luckily my friend got his "ok" email back up and student service

Droste is really unorganised in his hand-outs, believe me you'll get lost in wich h-o to bring to class, and he'll **** if you don't have them. The notes he writes in class, make no sense what so ever. Better follow the book and read the Chapters.
