Professor Saunders is a great guy! He goes out of his way to ensure his students are successful in his course and learn the material. He answers questions and is always willing to accommodate students, even at the last minute. His lectures are boring/dry, but he does make the effort to keep everyone entertained. I would highly recommend him!

This prof is one of the nicest profs I've ever had! Always always willing to help, is very clear, and he always answers emailed questions very quickly. His class is a bit dry, but I still absolutely recommend him, he's a great guy

GREAT PROF. Everything is so straightforward. There is no use of the textbook, he will give you many hints as to what will be on the exam and even gives you the essay question to prepare ahead of time. GREAT GREAT PROF.

LOVE this guy! Hes very helpful, kind, and easy to talk to. However,his slides dont give you that much info so you def have to attend class and make your own notes. He gives the essay question(on the test) in advance and gives lots of hints of whats on the exam. Course isnt the easiest but if take notes its an easy A!

slightly boring, but is fun and he puts effort into making it engaging. TAKE THIS COURSE. no need for textbook, you will do fine without it. In every lecture at least like 3 times he'll say "oh this is on the exam", and he gives you the essay question before exam. good guy.

Very insightful, helpful prof. Gives essay topics before hand and walks you through the requirements and possible approaches to the prompt. Makes material interesting. He explains to readings but look them over beforehand. Read through exam questions carefully and you'll be fine.

I took the Criminal Justice Course with him and did very well in it, but I didn't do as well in Criminal Law. Not sure if it was the content that was harder or just me getting lazier. Even though I didn't do as well, I'd still recommend the course. He's very clear in his expectations and will give you all the help you need to get there.

Comment:

Although his lectures are a bit dry, I think it is the nature of the content and not of his teaching style. He relates the content of the class to contemporary issues and has a real passion for criminal law, especially on its reform process. Also, he is a heck of a nice guy, this semester he made whichever exam students did better on count more.

Very easy course. Though he is a bit dry, his lectures are so comprehensible. He knows what he's talking about, and he'll repeat the important stuff. Don't think that because he isn't engaging you won't remember what he talks about. Somehow he seems to drive home the important concepts. He's also very understanding. Recommended.

He's very friendly; by all means go and talk to him. Very clear and easy material, and easy to understand. He is very good at answering questions clearly and promptly. However, he tends to drag out the lectures, and repeat himself a lot.

Prof. Saunders is awesome. Always there to help you, if you have any questions and prompt with his responses. The material can be boring at times but he does his best to keep iteresting. The exams are fair, if you go to class and do the important readings then no reason not to get an A, plus he gives you hints for the exam.

Comment:

Difficult multiple choice, but very interesting course. Having it on VOD was helpful because he gives out hints that you can rewind to ensure you get them... 10 or so. Classes drag on a little if you're on a tight schedule because of work. He occasionally gets glued to a slide, so stay sharp with them. All in all, quite a good course and prof.

Comment:

He was interesting to listen to in class, although 3 hours could get boring. Often let students out early, and tried his best to make you laugh. Midterm essays were essays were easy, but his two MC exams were VERY difficult.
