She noted that only one student did the work for a group project and gave all students equal grades. This occurred across several projects. The discussion usually gets way off topic with virtually no moderation on her part despite discussion crossing into unrelated, overly provocative topics. Unclear grading, and extremely disorganized.

She's an okay teacher, but her class has been unnecessarily stressful because she is very disorganized, and I can't comprehend her grading system. She does not post on D2L. You must go to class. She very often assigns homework in class, and you will have no way of knowing about it if you were not there. Expect TONS of group projects, too.

Fairly easy.3 compositions,3 tests, 4 quizzes,vhl hw, 1 group presentation-everyone gets their own grade though-for speech!Don't miss even one class; that will result in a serious point reduction 3-4pts off total grade!Class participation and attendance 11%! Extra credit available; do it. Doesn't grade hard. She tries to make it fun.

I really loved this instructor. She is a lot of fun and makes learning Spanish very interesting. I would recommend her. I wish I didn't have to take on-line courses now because I would love to continue my minor in Spanish with her class!

very nice and funny teacher. the class was fun and not difficult if you are really good in spanish. 3-4 tests. some quizzes. oral exam and 1 group project. i would recommend.

Very sweet woman, but flustered at times. Class is extremely easy; the quizzes are open book, you watch movies almost once a week and answer simple questions online, do the worksheets for the book and tests are take home. There is a small presentation that can be in English, and can basically be read completely. The syllabus is not much help

Provides a syllabus at the beginning that explains ALL of the major assignments. Go to class and do all of the homework. Kinda obvious stuff so it should be easy. The tests were surprisingly easier than expected.

Not sure she could have done anything about the subject matter. The class was dull very PC. However, she was rather nice and flexible, and I pulled a good grade. I found the class' organization to be a little lacking, though.

She is a wonderful professor, and a wonderful human being. I highly recommend her class. The tests were take home, open note tests, and the other assignments she wants are very easy. She is a very entertaining woman. She always kept class fun and interesting.

I like this professor but org is lacking. I think we should speak more Spanish in class & don't really go over some of the key things enough in my opinion. Because her command of English is not what it needs to be her expalining certain concepts to us is very unclear. It is one thing to make an A, another to speak & understand the language.

Aside from being a great teacher, she's a great person to have in class. This class is mostly about opinions and discussion and she does a great job of keeping the topics intersting and explaining things you don't understand. Just be ready to talk! The more enthusiam you give her, the more she'll give you!

She is very interesting. Makes time go by fast. Has a lot of activities in class that help you understand better. Does not expect you to speak like you had 10 years of experience. Gives a lot of homework but it is not hard and she grades easy. So take the class and enjoy it.
