I took her Screenwriting II class at BU and I loved it. It is a lot of work, and class participation is a must, all of the classes are like big discussions. But she makes it fun and interesting. The "textbook" was actually a funny read. I would be serious about screenwriting because it's a lot of work, but it's so worth it. She'll make you better.

Writing the Feature Film with RCC was a positive experience. The class is alot of work, especially later in the semester when your script is reaching its final stages. Her feedback is critical but helpful, though she never gives 1 grade back, making it hard to know how you're doing in the class. It's a fun, interesting, productive class.

I audited this class which touched so many aspects of the career path I hope to follow, providing excellent experiences and interaction with the teacher and students. Some students expected a free ride and did not take the work seriously. It was a great learning experience.

I'm not sure where all of the negative comments are coming from below. RCC was a fine teacher, eager to invest time into your script and improve your ideas. Not married to any pretentious personal philosophy, she helps improve the writing and explores all avenues. No complaints at all.

I was so bored in this class that I taught myself to slip into a meditative coma and astral project into a more useful class. That trollop doesn't even grade all those ridiculously frequent assignments she gives us. On the plus side, you'll really bond with your classmates; half of us are going to go get smashed after this damn class is finally over.

Rose Corbin-Cummings should find a new job -- one that involves a mind that works as slow as hers -- perhaps McDonalds would be fitting. This class was a waste of mine, and everyone else's time. She doesn't teach the class: the students do. Her attendance policy is strict because if it wasn't, nobody would have to come to class. Fire her now.

D'oh, Rose is supercool. Most of the course's progression is dependent on student presentations and discussions, but she adds the right amount of input (and humor--very important). The grade boils down to two papers and a PowerPoint--not too strenuous, in other words, but you can delegate time and effort to any paper topics you like. Satisfied.
