I took her Themes in American History class and didnt think It was that bad. Lots of reading for every class, if you dont read you wont pass. Theres one research paper and she says shes grades It harshly, but if you put effort into It you should be fine. Go to class and participate and shell like you.

Dr. Ryan is the sweetest person. If you take notes and keep up with the reading you can easily get an A. Her exams are very straightforward. She is the only professor I have right now that genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed.

One of my favorite classes in my freshman year. She gives you 2 exams, a 6 page paper, and a final exam. Her exams (for me anyway) are to write 2 sentences on 10 vocab words and 1 short essay. Study from her focus questions and vocab words and you'll be fine. She's very nice but firm on her class rules. HW is to read a chapter and answer questions

Honestly, this is a intro to history and she makes it complicated. There were so many people who withdrew this class, that is how bad it is. She gives you 10 chapters and says "study." No study guide, just 10 1-PAGE Focus Questions to study with 14 questions each. You can study, but if you do not have a photographic memory, good luck bro.

I was the only guy in her class. Take that for what it is worth. She seemed to be pretty easy going. She thought our final would take two hours. When people started to leave after about 45 minutes, she was a little shocked. I didn't care for that.
