Really great teacher. First off, she is very genorous when grading. There are quizzes every week and one Final. It is a hard class so it is expected to do bad, but if you approach her she is willing to help. She is very smart and is dedicated to her class and students.

3-4 tests plus a final, weekly homework worth 20 points, gives solutions to exams and homework, provides accurate study guides. She lectures very fast, and sometimes it is hard to take notes, you HAVE to remember topics from Intro to Linear and how to write a proof. GO to office hours. Attendance not mandatory. Doesn't grade anything herself.

Course in general is not very difficult (compared to Calc.) if you keep up with the new vocabulary and concepts. Reading text for general concepts before lecture will help it to go smoother. Tests and homework are graded forgivingly. Keep up with concepts and what steps to perform depending on how a question is asked, and you?ll do fine.

SHE SUCKS!!! Being hot doesn't mean you can teach. She has a thick accent and you can't read her writing. Doesn't teach a thing, only does examples on the overhead. UNLESS YOU CAN READ A MATH BOOK, RUN...FAR, FAR AWAY...HIDE!...SAVE YOURSELF!!! Or you can be like me, take it for C/NC, and still fail. BTW, retook w/ prof that could teach & got an A-

A bit overwhelming at first but once you get used to her teaching style it's very easy. Must go to class and take notes, do homework b/c quizzes come str8 from hw probs. Weekly quizzes, online hw, 2 midterms, final. Got an A with a little effort!

Damn good teacher. Helpful 1000%. Know Definitions to apply concepts. Dont cry about homework. She is one of SDSU's best profs! I liked the subject thanks to her teaching style. oh yeah pick up solution manual it helps too. ve.

Ok this is the deal: she is a great teacher. i flunked her 1st test. i went to her office hrs every day. I'm now passing with a B+. She is so helpful. Dont whine and do the hw. Tests are based on it. -competitive.

Makes sure everyone knows the subject by giving frequent quizes. Makes the subject interesting. Gives exams that will test your understanding of the subject, but they are not hard - sometimes a little long, but sometimes quite short. Great professor!
