I've taken quite a few classes with him and, he's easily the best Anthropology professor at Brooklyn college. He knows his stuff and makes esoteric writings, accessible to his students. He's also a very reasonable grader! Take his course if you can, he'll try his best to make the most dull material interesting!

Sometimes I get bored from him talking.. but he cracks jokes out of nowhere and is always in a giddy mood. Great professor! He's very smart, charming, and makes the subject interesting and fun. A few papers that are easy, (i think 6 together) take home midterm and final.No textbooks needed because he puts everything on blackboard. He's just AMAZING

Sharman could have been a stand up comedian if he wasn't a Professor, he writes scripts for movies too, extremely funny, entertaining, intelligent, and friendly. His lectures make you think about life outside of the box. Only downside is he can ramble on without letting others speak at times, which isn't all that bad since he's very interesting.

Sharman is a really funny and passionate professor. On the first day he told us that he does not need a perfect curve- he wants everyone to know the material and do well. Lots of cutesy/****ed jokes which keeps the class entertaining :) He really knows his stuff and does not make life difficult for you.

Omg, I took him one day and I was just blown away. Honestly his class feel like a 20 minute class rather than 1 hr 15 mins b/c thats how much I enjoy it. I'm gonna make sure I take him for every other anthropology class I need for my major!!!!!!!!!!!

Def. one of the best. Very funny and intelligent. He doesn't stress attendance and lateness and he is very fair with the work. There are only 2 papers and 2 exams. The papers are easy and he didn't penalize me much for handing one in a week late. Easy A so just do the work and enjoy his class.
