Comment:
Dr. Euler is one of the last professors at Northwest I would tell anyone to take for a math course, especially if you are taking anything below Calc II. He acts as though he is too good for his lower-level students, and he is clearly just trying to make it through the lectures. He speaks too quickly and will not repeat himself. His tests are ROUGH.

He is one of the most amazing professors I have ever seen. He is nice and very knowledgeable about math. He provides enough examples for you to prepare for the exam. If you work hard and go to his office hour, it is not that hard for you to pass with A.

Dr. Euler is a phenomenal professor. Notes are specific and full of practice problems. Always willing to explain in multiple ways and is helpful during office hours. Tests are the only grade but all questions derive from practice problems given during class. Homework not graded but you should do it. Calc is difficult but Euler will help you through

Dr. Euler is a professor that would be wonderful to take if you already knew everything that the class had to offer. If you plan on learning in his class, like most people would expect, then be ready to do all of the homework and go to his office hours. If you ask him any questions though, he'll make sure you feel stupid about asking them.

Calculus 1 was difficult for me to understand on my first go, and Euler definitely didn't do much to alleviate any confusion I had. If you're an Academy student, get tutoring as soon as you can and do all of the homework.

He started class early every day this semester. I had to run to not miss material. Grades come only from tests (but all test questions are out of the homework). Definitely teaches to the highest level of students in the class. If you bomb one test, you can't bring your grade back up.

Dr. Euler is one of the best teachers I've had for any math course. His grades are strictly based on tests and homework is optional. If you do the work and pay attention in class, you should do well. If you need help, go to office hours because he wants to help.

Dr. Euler is a great professor and really knows what he is talking about, he does no impress me as a teacher though. often when asked questions he gets angry like you are trying to challenge how smart he is, I often felt like there was a lot of hostility coming from him and that kept me from asking many questions. Do NOT take him if you ask ?'s

He was great at math and at teaching, but sometimes it felt like what he taught us in class didn't always apply to the homework, which wasn't graded but was used on the test.

I'm in his Pre-Cal class this semester, when he isn't getting upset because an academy student asked a question, he is flying through material like it's nothing. Which to him, it may be nothing, but to someone who is only taking it because it's required, it's terribly difficult. I would appreciate if he would slow down in class.

He provides plenty of examples everyday you have class, and if you do the homework, you will do great. If you have a question, its best to seem him in his office, and he is very helpful. He also will go over tests with you! Good professor!

He may be very good at math, but is not so good on explaining it to those that don't get it, and can be mildly condescending in attitude at times. His tests aren't impossible, but are tedious and a pain. There are only 20 questions for a 100 pts, so you are screwed if you miss a couple. No homework grades, but you need to do it.

The man is a genius. Knows everything there is about math. You don't have to do the homework but almost all the test questions come from the homework so do it! His test only have 20 questions but are worth 100 points. So if you mess up on 2 or more questions your screwed. I am taking him again next semester.
