Dr. Sobel along with having a laundry list for a Vita, is the best professor I have ever had, and I'm now in grad school. He dumbs down the material and makes everything interesting. He never gives up on a student and has a genuine passion for economics. Youtube his lectures. I'm so glad he moved back to his hometown.

The general consensus seems to be that Sobel is a great professor. Trust me, he is. I had no interest in economics before taking his course, but his class made me switch my major to economics. He's interesting and funny. He dumbs down the material so you understand it. Attendance isn't mandatory, but his exams are straight from the lectures.

Sobel is the best professor I have ever had. He is extremely clear in his teaching, and almost dumbs the material down to the point that it seems to be common sense. He is a really cool guy, and will not go a day without making you laugh. I highly recommend taking any class he teaches. You will not be disappointed!

One of the best teachers I've ever had, by far! He's so interesting and relatable. Go to class to get the full benefit of his lectures- the examples he uses in class are what are on the test, plus its just interesting. Changed some of my political views!

Professor Sobel is by far the most outrageous teacher I have ever had, but in a very entertaining way. His exams are directly from the workbook, making them very simple, and he is willing to help students. I would definitely recommend him to anyone taking Microeconomics.
