Would definitely recommend as a prof. As long as you put the time and effort into studying, you will do well, even though the material is relatively easy to begin with. Lectures are very straightforward and she gives lots of helpful feedback on papers.

Not someone I'd ever want to have to deal with in the real world. 'Those who can't teach' though Bored by the lectures droning on.. no humour, terrible 'bedside manner' So glad the course is over. Never have to see her again

heard she was a great prof, but did not have a good experience. Entire semester was group work. Sign in sheet and group work every class, along with a group presentation at the end of semester. 20% in class participation. Research project that consisted of a recorded interview with transcript. Would not recommend taking the class with her..

Dr. Mann is your average professor. Nothing horrible but nothing really stands out. I've had her a few times. She's definitely there for you if you need help with any assignments but there's nothing that really stands out about her. Didn't hate her, didn't love her. She's also fairly easy in comparison to others.

I took intro to criminal justice with her, she seems knowledgeable but doesn't express it very well, for example, mispronouncing easy, common, words. She makes the GAs teach a few of her classes, as in, makes group work. Will not post slides online nor leaves them on long enough to type them out. Lectures boring, read the textbook and you'll pass.

Fantastic! She pretty much walked us through our final paper, even showed us exactly how to site things. Answered emails within a few hours, always had time to clarify things after class, and even extended her office hours at times to accommodate students. Her spell sucks though.

Very nice lady but also boring...lectures seem to drag on. Approachable if you need help...expect to do LOTS of readings...however she doesn understand it is difficult to read everything she assigns. Has her own style of how she wants things done and handed in which isn't always the best...but overall she is fair
