She is a very nice person, but I don't why she is teaching that course when she is not even a lawyer. She is helpful, but her exams marking are hard! She wants you too put as much information as possible, even if it's irrelevant. Papers and presentations are requiered. They are not bad

Worst instructor I have ever had. If she doesn't agree with what you have to say, she will penalize you for it. She is unethical and undignified when dealing with students or course matters.

she is and isn't helpful, depending if she is or isn't having a bad day. Generally speaking she is a good person, nice teacher. Read the book...going to class isn't that necessary. Do your best on the midtern 'cause she will mark you so hard, although she marks your presentation and paper soooooo easy.

Don't be fooled by the reviewers below, he is NOT a good prof. His lectures and notes are useless as everything he says is already in the text. His exams are not fair. You better know the text VERY well, as he'll test you on the smallest details, even though he didn't go over it in class. Don't bother buying the "Yates Cases" either, it's useless.

Class wasn't too hard. Lectures are quite boring. I slept through 90% of them. But the textbook is really helpful and since the prof wrote it, so it's really relevant. The notes are pretty good too. It's kind of a do it yourself course.

exams r pretty easy - but u have to read the textbook! lecs were useful in beginnin cuz he gave examples (he actually used one as a question), but after midterm, pretty boring. attend last 2 lecs, drops hints abt final. good prof, i liked him b/c he was pretty easy lol, as long as u read the text.

A lot of reading, difficult material to digest. Yates is pretty disorganized and uninterested in teaching or so it seems. He has a blase attitude about everything and prefers to talk on to the left hand side of the class(his left)
