She is by far the worst teacher I've ever had to endure. She's extremely boring, assigns papers for every class, and is an awful lecturer. I rather take on 3 additional classes than sit through one of hers again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - especially you Georgetown Students.

King is definitely on the wacky side, but her lectures are both interesting and fun. If you want to do well you must come to class, take notes (displayed on an overhead projector), and read. I would highly recommend you take her class; I loved it. She says the tests are "very difficult" but they are actually incredibly easy. This class is an easy A

This class is really not that difficult. Her lectures can feel long but the topic is interesting and she clearly knows a lot about it. There are only four tests, and if you come to class and take notes they are not bad at all. Random true false quizzes sometimes, just do the readings. I liked her a lot, she's a little wacky and funny which I enjoy

You really have to work for this class in order to do well. I still enjoyed this class though. Dr. King is a REALLY good professor. Her lectures are really thorough and she really knows what she's talking about. Though attendance isn't mandatory, GO TO CLASS. Her tests are 100% based on lecture, not on the textbook, so make sure you take good notes

She is the worst professor I have had in my college career and I am a senior. I took this class as part of my BA requirement. What a horrible decision. She posted no notes online, her lectures are beyond boring, and her tests are ridiculously hard. Trust me I am a great student who usually gets A's and puts in a ton of work. NEVER TAKE THIS CLASS.

This class is really difficult and the tests have no multiple choice questions on them. You really have to study if you want to get a good grade. Attendance isn't mandatory but you have homework every night that is just busy work. This class is way to hard to be a GenEd.

I definitely feel that I would've done so much better if I took philosophy instead. She is a nice professor but her exams are REALLY detailed oriented and they are all free-response questions. I study this class more than my Genetics class (my major class). Not to mention her final exam classnotes are >10,000 words - and it's NOT cumulative.

This class is way too hard for a geded. I took this class thinking it wouldn't be very hard since I went to a religious school since pre-k and studied world religions twice in high school. Attendance is not mandatory but you have home work to turn in every day and it's busy work. Her tests are also very hard.

I found this class to be difficult but I also got behind on the readings, too. She does random quizzes so make sure you do the readings before class! The tests are pretty hard so take good notes and read the assigned books. Somehow I got a B!

You have to go to class because everything on the tests comes from the notes. You don't really need the books, as the homework answers can be searched online. I got straight As on tests w/o looking at the book once. I just rewrote all of the notes the night before a test to study. Nice lady but you can't really talk in class or use the bathroom.

Great teacher and great class. Exactly what a gened should be, she gives you the information you will need to do well on the tests. You MUST go to class. There is homework every day but it will only take you about 20 minutes to do. Not an easy A, but if you put in a little effort it's not hard at all.

Don't take this class thinking it'll be a breeze as a senior. I had to take a step back from the conceptual thinking I've gained from college and dumb it down to memorizing terms and lists. She could do better with specifying terms that will find their way onto the tests.

DR.KING IS GREAT!!!!! She is such a passionate older woman and treats this class how a GenEd should be run! With religion being the topic sometimes people get heated and personal but Dr. King keeps it straight to the facts. Reading and response questions due every class and major tests on each section no study guide but she gives great notes! :)

Readings before each class and pop quizzes. Her exams are not that difficult but do require you to study for them. Do the readings, they help a lot. Sometimes I feel like she favors some students. She made some **** remarks to my friend once and can't tell me and my friend apart just because we're the same race. The class is a good class though.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, but if you do not do your reading you will quickly be left behind. She is cold and distant in large classes, but in smaller ones she is very personable and genuinely cares for you. Do the readings, study, GO TO CLASS, you'll be fine. If you're serious about the course you'll do fine. If not...don't take it.

Professor King is fantastic. She knows so much about the topic! She tries to make it easy to understand and interesting but some classes were boring and the material is tough to understand. Three tests and pop quizzes. I suggest trying to always attend class
