Sally is the most caring professor I've had. She is very understanding. Color theory is a really difficult class and she grades tough, but she is willing to help as much as she can. She also will allow you to resubmit work if you need. As long as you work hard, you should be good.

Sally is a great professor. If you're an art major, she will make sure you are living up to your full potential. If you're not an art major, she tries her best to help you through. No matter your skill, if you get stuck she will try her best to coax ideas out of you. Definitely loved this class, it was fun! Takes attendance!

It truly horrifies me how many classes this professor has. Especially the number of classes that are important to design majors. She may seem sweet at first but she is very rude. Her lectures are fast and her directions are so unclear it hurts. Oh and if you like D2L, to stay updated, she doesn't use it to post helpful information at all.

This teacher does not understand anything when it comes to her students. Unless she decides to like you on the first day good luck missing class with an injury or illness cause she won't let you make anything up. She grades her projects on her strict guidelines and if you make any little mistake, or try to show your creativity, then bye bye points.

Worst professor I've experienced so far. She treats the students as if they were children in kindergarten. She also makes rude comments when asked simple questions, or at least a question she considers "common sense". If you have any kind of injury or illness and need to miss class, you better get a note, cause she won't believe you and won't care.

Sally is amazing, really makes you think about what you do and why you do it. Her grading is heavily based on craftsmanship. The projects aren't great nor easy. I have also taken her color theory class and I love it a lot more then 2d. I would totally take her again.

I'm sure she's very nice outside of class, but she's frustrating to have as a teacher. She makes rude comments and expects very specific things from projects that she assumes the students will "use their comomn sense to figure out"

I've had her twice now, and while I did quite well in her class, I have little patience for her teaching style. She is a huge micro manager. She's constantly trying to make announcements in the middle of people trying to do individual work . God forbid you try and shoot a quick text to someone - I saw her actually try to confiscate someone's phone.

had her for 2D design she was my favorite professor this semester.she's really nice and made me want to come to class,she's flexible with deadlines and the projects are fun for the most part.five quizzes throughout the semester and all are extremely easy.i wouldnt recommend buying the textbook we never used them but i would definitely recommend her

She flips through the powerpoints quickly, but you get all the information you need from there. Do not bother buying the book, I didn't study or read the book and got a 98 on the midterm. She doesn't give enough time to work on each project, but she grades fairly, if you at least TRY, you'll get a passing grade.

the only reason i took this course was because my web technology minor requires it, otherwise i wouldn't even bother with it. a first grader's artwork is better than mine, which i think kinda affected me in this class. she definitely grades on ability, even though i got a B in the class. lots of projects which are annoying.

What a sweetheart! She gets to know everyone and I don't have her anymore, but she still always says hi when she sees me. Projects were interesting and fun, but could be tedious. If you try you'll do well. Contradictory to what some of these people are saying, she does grade on effort and you can even re-do projects that you don't do so well on.
