I liked Mrs. Van Bebber...she sometimes repeated herself and repeated assignments but she's an old lady! LOL. Attend every single class so that you don't have to take ANY tests. The speeches are easy. The end of the semester notebook is easy to put together. Make sure to ALWAYS have your outline when you do your speech..I learned the hard way!!!

Great teacher! But keep tract of all your work...At the end of the semester she will go over your grade with you. When we met she was going to give me a C, because she misgraded my work. I had to show her all the papers and HW so she could put in the correct scores. She felt really bad about her mistake. I got a B

I really enjoy Sally's classes. I just finished the last of Sally's classes. I took 5,7, and 9. All of them were great classes. Sally is a great teacher. The SLPA program is the way to go!

One of niciest and best teachers. Even if you are terrible at giving speeches, but try hard, she will still pass you to not break your confidence. I did terrible on my first three speeches ,but she never rip me. Instead, she helps you improve. I improved on the next speeches and got an A.

The SLPA program is awesome! I'm so glad I am part of it. Sally is an amazing teacher and I'm glad to call her my friend. She's getting up there in years but she's done so much in her life! She makes us laugh but helps us learn what we need to know to be successful. She really is passionate about this field and her students! We love Sally!!!

Mrs. Van Beeber is an amazing teacher in her lesson plan requiring minimal homework aside from speeches and her no abscences=no test policy is great for those who fear tests, midterms, and finals. In addition, her grading is based on effort and the perfomance C. Good luck This is a class is usually avoided but Van Beeber makes giving speeches fun!!

I'm glad that she was also a debate team leader because the entire semester we argued toe-to-toe on all issues. Strongly left-wing. Long teaching career, good material, but be careful what you wish for.
