Sam is an excellent teacher. Gives good explanations, reviews accordingly, and always allows for wiggle room when handing in assignments. Only complaint is sometimes he will only gloss over something that needs further explanation.

Hated him, all of his labs are done in class, no time to work on them at all. Instructions weren't very clear and I know some of the stuff requires logic and problem-solving, but this is literally leaving you to do it on your own. Skip him for a better professor.

Took IOS development. The in class examples were clear and easy to follow, able to learn the basics of objective C quickly from having some programming background. Progression of progress well developed so by the final project you will create something useful and can take away fro the course.

Hard to understand and doesn't really teach the theory. Gives good example code and is one of the most helpful teachers at NAIT. If you put in the effort he will make sure you can pass. Very fair and dedicated to his students. Comes in on his own time to make sure the students pass, even if they are not in his class. Thanks Sam!

Great teacher. He spends almost all day in the java labs, hes there all day during school, after school, then he leaves to teach night class and hes right back in the java lab helping out students. Havent met a more dedicated teacher.

O.K- This guy always stayed late to help the students work on labs...until midnight the day one was due. This semester he stayed late helping students with Java labs, and he wasn't even TEACHING Java this semsster!! AMAZING.

His code actually works, so we had good examples to go by which is rare in CST. He was dedicated and prepared for class. And he was there to help if you ask. One of the best in CST.
