Comment:

Easily one of the most helpful professors I have ever had. She taught the material in as entertaining a manner as I suppose it is possible to teach it. I nearly missed the final due to a misread schedule, and she allowed me to make it up off-campus. Not just any cheque-cashing prof would have been so kind! One of the best profs I ever had.

extremely boring. i played solitaire through the whole class and still got an 82. she did not inspire me to write good essays. the essay topics were boring. the class was boring. the texts were boring. she was boring.

The easist and nicest prof I ever had. Easy assignments and the midterm was pretty easy. The final was just like the midterm only longer and worth more. Pretty easy marker but you have to make your points clear and write a lot to get a good mark. She was dull at moments, but it is an english class...how fun is it supposed to be?

Wonderful woman. She is a fair marker, gives assignments that force you to learn, and grooms you for a job in the real world. She goes over things multiple times, is always willing to answer questions, and will extend due date within reason. She's big on class discussions, but focuses more on the individual's writing techniques. My favorite prof.

Sandra is a competent professor who grades fair and has equally fair exams.She makes you work for your marks on essays though.People who are used to high school will complain though,this is not high school people,it is supposed to be harder).Profs expect huge improvements in essays at university so shape up.

I loved english in highschool...university- not so much. She clearly knows what she is teaching but so monotoned all the time. I have excellent sleeps in this class...when i go. Assignments suck..midterms are even worse. not really marked fairly.

good prof, always willing to help. gives very good marks for assinments and midterm/final. as long as you go to class, read your stuff and understand what is going on you will go great in this class. the marks are not the best but for english 100 they are very good. ** if you want to answer questions sit near the front of the class**

Sandra goes over the class material thoroughly when addressing assigned stories. Encourages questions to be asked in class. Important note is to do good on assigned essays in helping your average. Try and prepare to write essays in time pressure situation as the tests go by quickly.

Obscure essay questions. On the midterm she expects you to write a COMPLETE essay plus other long answer questions. needless to say, no one finished; and the final was even worse. She marks _VERY_ hard, and even if you check your essay with her and correct it, before handing it in, she will still mark stuff wrong and give you a 70. Very feminist.

This woman is the sweetest lady ever! Aside from that, I find that she discusses literature in an engaging manner that keeps you interested and encourages you to participate...she does not load on too much work in too little time, seems to makr fairly, and appears to be very helpful...Strongly recommended!!

Comment:

Sandra taught me english 100 and english 110. To me, she has always brought on thought-provoking subjects and the literature she provides for her class has always sparked my interest. She gives weeks to write essays and is always helpful if you need it. She expects you to improve on writing, but you should neways. I Recommend her to anyone!
