Fabulous. Loved the stories about smoking cigs and her baby son digging in her ash tray. And the Pepsi cans with Santa + the phallic Holiday symbols. Tests were pretty easy if you actually studied. It ain't hard!

are you kidding me? this is the WORST class i've ever taken! without being too cruel, all i can say is THANK GOD she is retiring! she must be at the end of her rope b/c she is the most opinionated and UNEDUATED professor w/a docterate that i've ever had!!!!!!

This was the easiest class I've ever taken. Her exact notes are given to you beforehand, and the tests relied solely on memorizing the notes. I didn't open the book once the whole semester. Class offered little aside from notes besides good stories and examples. Attendance is part of your grade, which I think is the reason most people show up.

Super easy class and the tests are a breeze. But it's actually interesting subject matter and you learn a lot! Holmes doesn't take any **** but if you behave and respect her you won't have a problem. Gives you all the notes so you don't have to write anything down.

If you enjoy rote memorization where you spit back what she told you onto her "tests" then take her. Super easy, final took me 5 minutes. She did test us on Good Fri, Valentines Day and the day before spring break, so be warned. Rude, Lazy, and somewhat confrontational

I really enjoyed her class. She knows what she's talking about and relates it to the real world. She's a funny lady who loves what she's doing and what she's teaching. Notes are printed out for you so you don't have to take any in class. Tests aren't all that bad if you study some before hand.

easy easy class. I had no problems with her, I'd take the class again. She prints off notes so you don't have to take any, finally a smart prof. who realizes taking notes is detrimental to learning!!!

Very easy class, academically - but very applicable to life in general. What the class lacked in challenges it more than made up for in lessons that I'll take with me when I graduate. I like her style - she brings a very human flavor into the classroom.
