Worst online prof ever. U Waterloo should not allow her to teach. Completely disengaged from the class. Will not respond to discussion board or to e-mails. The rare time that she does her responses are rude and confusing. Does not provide feedback with marks so you never know where you need to improve. Horrible prof. Avoid her if possible. UGH!

never take a class with her, doesnt reply and if she does, days later she is rude. doesnt clarify anything, gives you a test worth 30% that she admittedly didn't teach because she doesnt think you should 'go over something twice' ex. taught the modules, tested on entire textbook. easy class but soooo not worth it bc u have to deal with her

Worst prof I have ever had. She did not respond to any of my e-mails regarding her instructions as all her instructions for assignments were very unclear. Tests and quizzes also unfair as they were irrelevant to lecture/reading material. I would avoid taking a class with her again.

The professor does not seem to enjoy teaching! She is rude, takes a long time to reply when students ask her questions on the online page, seems irritated, and does not adequately address the students concerns. Assignment directions are vague and she does not care to provide further directions. Hope I never have to take another class with her.

She is TERRIBLE. Honestly, such a waste of my time. She rarely valued course readings and would turn 3 hour lectures into an hour most of the time. She gave us a syllabus from a year ago and then got angry when I called her out on it as the assignment dates were all messed up. Avoid classes with her!

Avoid this professor at all costs! There is very little "teaching" involved - just copious amounts of content thrown at students, with very little guidance/clarity. Takes forever to reply to e-mails/concers, the assignments are highly subjective - really a huge dissapointment. This course is mandatory and could be great - but is far from it.

Professor Campbell honestly should not be allowed to teach this class online - it is making a mockery out of the SDS Program, and I would have hoped that UW would have higher standards. The course was written a few years ago, and has not been updated since. Links do not work, textbook readings do not match the lecture topics. It's a disaster!

I am very frustrated with this professor. I am taking this class online and she is impossible to communicate with. It takes her days/weeks to reply to emails and discussion boards. Grades are never posted. The workload is annoying. 6 small assignments which are 5% each, then 3 larger assignments ranging from 20% to 25%. Don't take her online.

Excellent in-class professor. Wasn't overly impressed with her when I had her for an online course previously, but I must say I like her very much in person! Flexible and tries to get the class involved in discussions(which can be challening at 9PM on a Monday).

Very kind, intuitive, and empathetic lady. Like another student mentioned, changes the schedule to accomodate the class if seh senses the timeline is too much. Very passionate about social work with the elderly, I look forward to her class every week!

The final exam was not suited for a first year course. Unmanageable expectations for an essay question on the exam. Lectures were boring and did not cover much content from the text book. I would not take a class with her in the future.

She told the class that almost none of her lectures would be on the exam. The final exam consisted of an essay question that made up almost half of the mark which was extremely hard. If you ask her for help or try to clarify something with her she is very short and makes you feel uncomfortable. She is probably great in her field but not as a prof

I've never given a professor a bad review before but I suppose there is a first time for everything! Completely disconnected from the class, marks seem to come out of nowhere (some marks are incomprehensibly high and others are incomprehensibly low), generally unreachable, and forget about productive feedback on assignments.

She doesnt care about the class at all. Says she will post/do things and doesnt. Lectures are ridiculous and disorganized with an extremely difficult exam. Obviously a lady who has lived a lot and has experience... but either should not be teaching or needs to cut back on the million things she does because her teaching suffers from it.

Wonderful teacher, passionate on this topic. Helpful to students, asking every class if there was any issues or need to review any topic. Would take another course with her. Taught the emotional impact of Palliative care as well as self care for self. Great class, wonderful teacher!

Her posts on ACE were degrading to students. She is horrible at answering email, don't even bother emailing her, just go to the TA. The work load for the class is 4th year, but you only get 2-3% per assignment. The amount of work required is rediculous and redundant, since many students were simply re-cycling papers from other classes to save time.
