This was kind of a tough class but through my hard work I prevailed. I'm not sure she's still teaching but if you see her offered as an option for English take Sandy. She's nice to converse, never mean and gives you what you deserve. Group work but that's expected for most English courses.

She has an extremely charming personality. Work is required of you, although unclear at times. Majority of the class is simple notetaking, about half a dozen essays (that almost seem like someone different grades it each time), and a big research paper. Start early on it, and you will get your 'A'! Overall, I enjoyed her.

A competitive atmosphere for those who’ve taken her 110. I learned that hard work, critical hinking and copious note (journal) taking pays off. Biggest lesson - get a different peer reviewer for each paper. Start your research paper early â€" do not make the fatal mistake by starting late. Do you write confidently? Take Sandy.

For each essay she found a new mistake that she didn't previously mention, so she is hard to please.Obviously didn't teach as I,even after asking for help,continued to get a C.She only grades easier on midterm and final as you are timed.Must want to be a writer to take her,average Joe will fail!!!

Very liberal but kind of tough. Buy the books and do the readings. Understanding the readings help too at quiz time! With Sandy you get what you put into the course. Also, the writing center was a big help.
