Comment:

I felt uncomfortable around Sandy but maybe that's because I looked at her as a very serious prof. She is passionate about what she does and she expects you to be too. A bit of a hard grader but she is very informative when she teaches. Lectures feel very long since she speaks at a calm slow pace but teaches very thoroughly. Make sure you do hw.

Comment:

Sandy is an amazing teacher! She is super supportive and really cares about the success of her students. She's very approachable, and gives really clear guidelines as to what she expects on assignments, tests and exams. Couldn't have asked for a better teacher for first year nursing practice!

Sandy is an amazing prof! Such a good professor to have as a first year nursing student. She is very helpful and she really cares about your learning and wants you to succeed. The class isn't easy and she's a tough cookie but if you keep up with the readings and pay attention in class you should be fine.

Sandy is a very good professor. Her lectures were always very informative and she genuinely wants all her students to succeed. At times she can be impatient and slightly aggressive but she is fair. You will benefit from reading material beforehand as it cannot all be covered in the lecture. However I found the labs less than satisfactory sometimes.

I've just completed my 4th year graduating in June. Sandy is still rated in the top 5 of professors. She does not give up on you and she is the real thing. She wants you to be successful and she knows her stuff.....I think about things she said in those classes. A very good teacher.

Being in third year now and looking back on it, she was definitely not the best nursing teacher I've had. Most of her lectures were quite general, sometimes boring. At least she tries to improve every year, she wants her own feedback from her students at the end of the year
