Probably the only good professor in the stats department (instructors are good). Really cares about individual learning and wants everyone to do well. Explains each concept carefully and with detail.

He is a really good professor. I took the higher level stats class with him. He is pretty nice and kind. He puts lots of his time on making the notes, exam the materials, and set up the proper examples. I would definitely recommend him. He is always trying to be there for you, should say a easy A , if you are learning.

He really cares about his students and explains the notes excellently. The only reason I struggled was because some days his accent is extremely thick and I found it hard to understand him.

Possibly, one of the best classes I've ever taken. He helps you with iClicker problems, so the only reason you won't get 100% is because you weren't there. His lectures are long but very informative. Everything is covered by his lecture slides. Really genuine great prof. Take his class, you'll do great.

He's the nicest prof I've ever had! He really wanted us all to do well and gave us "hints" for literally every i-clicker question which made it pretty much impossible for you to not get 55 for that section (and only asks us 2 i-clicker questions every other class). Notes are really helpful, textbook is useless.

Great Prof! Cares a lot about his students! Explains everything that you need to know for the exams! Always willing to help his students! Prepares his own notes so the textbook is useless! Read his notes, he explains EVERYTHING step by step! Love this prof! "The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book." That's him!!!

Attending all lectures is a good idea. They are slow to start but once he finds his groove they're not bad. Asks iClicker questions almost every class. He's genuinely a good guy and is always willing to help. His notes are always posted early and have lots of examples.

In my opnion he is the best prof you can get in stats1000, he actaully care about you, he is always willing to help you, he is kind and he explain the course very well and his notes are really really helpful, i just studied his examples on the notes and i got a really good mark. defenetely lucky to have him as my professor!

His notes are amazing and the guy personally hands them to you before every class. His accent is not nearly as bad as people say and his jokes are so bad they loop all the way around and become hilarious. Big recommendation for a first year student.

This is the most caring professor I have had at the UofM! He truly cares about his students, and will do anything to help a troubled student (esp with iclickers). He is extremely happy to help anyone who steps in his office. The added humour in the class is hilarious!

I loved this prof, he was extremely helpful and wanted everyone in the class to do well. He answered any questions with as much effort as possible. However, he is sometimes unclear, he speaks really fast with his deep accent. Other than that, overall, great professor!
