I have never had to read more chapters out of a textbook in my life. The tests were tested on like 5 chapters at a time, and the lectures were drier than the Sahara Desert. I like history, but this was miserable.

I DON'T recommend him. He's a nice person, but that's it. Everything we go over in class is completely unrelated to the tests, and he lectures beyond how long class is meant to be. He pushes irrelevant political views on you as well, which is odd considering this is just a history class. The only good thing is that there are some chances for EC.

Mr. Cameron is a really nice guy and I really enjoyed his class. That being said, be prepared to read. The textbook will put you to sleep. Your grade is basically totally dependent on how well you do on the exams. No one in my class got above a C on their tests. I studied my hardest and still failed. He knows his tests are impossibly hard too.

Cameron is a great professor. He provides a lot of extra credit and also has really great lectures. He does tell a lot of stories that may not be related to the lecture. But he cares about everybody and is an easy class to pass.

Highly recommend Professor Cameron. He really cares for his students. Lectures are mandatory but he's a good storyteller which makes history interesting. There's lots of extra credit opportunities.

Cameron was a cool teacher. Pretty laid back but still caring. Often got sidetracked during lectures but told good stories. Lectures were a bit dull sometimes. 3 tests- 3 essay non cumulative but pretty hard to study for. Essays were an easy way to earn points. Offers tons of extra credit so you wont have a problem passing the class

Prof Cameron was one of my favorite professors in moorpark. His ability to story tell is so intriguing and I actually learned so much from his lectures. He does require you to read the textbook his lectures dont fully cover the test material so he assigns chapters. Great humor and kind person hes awesome!

The tests are impossible, I studied 8+ hours and the highest I got was a 67%. However, he gives a lot of extra credit (Like ALOT) that can help your grade. Hes a cool guy, the lectures can be a lot though. Make sure to read the book or else you wont pass the test. Doesnt use canvas, so you will have to ask him about your grade.

Tests are hard because they are based on information from the book and not so much from the lecture but still scored decent grades on them. I do recommend reading the book to study so taking notes during lectures is unnecessary. Extra credit is abundant so it all evens out. I recommend taking him. He does spend the first 30 mins talking A LOT

Keeps you interested by telling lots of stories. If you do the extra credit, which he has tons of, you will easily get an A. None of the tests are cumulative and you don't have to study very hard for them. He answers all your questions thoroughly and is very friendly overall.

Great Professor, he tells a lot of stories during his lectures that are really interesting. You don't need to study too hard for the tests, a TON of extra credit is given. If you do the essays, take the tests and do all of the extra credit it is an easy A.

Took professor Cameron last year for HEDM150 and he is a great professor and I enjoyed his lectures. Funny and humorous, people in my class enjoyed his jokes as well. The tests are hard, so read your book. There are many extra credit opportunities that he provides so if you try hard enough and participate you will get a good grade. TAKE HIM!!!!

Cameron is a very humorous and kind professor. His class goes by a point system-- although there are few (subjectively tough) exams the whole semester and no homework, he is very generous by giving students numerous extra credit opportunities. Show up to lecture, be punctual and listen. Do the textbook reading on your own time and you'll succeed!

He's a great guy, I had a lot of fun in his class but you don't learn much from his lectures. The tests are very reliant on the textbook, so if you read that you'll be fine. He gives tons of extra credit opportunities so even if you bomb a test, you'll probably get an A in the class. And make sure t do the essays for the test.

Many incorrect "historical facts" that you could Google to find better information on. If he's hitting his stride telling a long story, you can be pretty sure it's a tall tale. Tests are hard, but there is a ton of extra credit. Show up to class & do all the extra credit and you'll get an A without learning anything.

Probably my favorite professor by far at Moorpark and for that matter history class. His class is very interactive and it's never boring. He's very informative and knowledgeable. Fair grader and his extra credit assignments which could be a slide show or a book or museum report are recommended to do if you love history. Recommended please take!

Two words: Extra Credit. He offers it, make sure you take it. Otherwise, passing the class with better than a C will be difficult. Nice guy. Lectures are fun and informative. Difficult to know what is on the exams though - questions can be tricky and often seem like they don't come from lecture or the book.
