Scott is a great guy. Always willing to help. Has a good sense of humor which is always good. Lenient on grading. Always wants you too succeed and is willing to help in any way possible to make that happen. Would recommend him to anyone. You can miss some classes and still be okay, but not too many!

Overall a really good professor. Especially considering most people will have to take GSW 1120 at BG this is a nice refreshing person to take it when your dreading having to sign up for another English class. He makes it enjoyable with some stories that can seem weird but are still entertaining. Also EXTREMELY helpful and available.

I'm a really good writer, so I usually love english classes. This man made me MISERABLE! He seemed to give a harder time to people who were semi-attractive.. His stories were awkward and he always seemed really out there. Avoid him if you don't deal well with strange people

Scott is really funny and a great prof. He brings up lots of great ideas and counterarguments, which made for great discussions. However, class did get a little boring after a while. Exams are somewhat confusing and opinionated, but they're not too difficult. Moderate amount of reading too.
