Scott is hands down the best math instructor you can get. It is clear that Scott goes the extra mile to keep the class interesting. Assignments can be rather tricky but they are a fun challenge and Scott is very accessible both in class and outside class. Other instructors should take inspiration from Scott. 10/10.

One of the best instructors at BCIT. Brilliant, caring and insightful. Offers great help during office hours, lectures are amazing. Never seen anyone put that mech effort into powerpoints. Exam questions can be tough, sometimes hard to decipher the underlying problem.

Scott is probably the best teacher I have ever experienced. His power point slides are amazing, and he conveys knowledge so well when he speaks. He understands where students can have trouble in a certain unit, and he really emphasizes how to do it correctly which I find a lot of teachers don't do. He can really put himself in your shoes.

Scott's assignments take longer than all other assignments combined. His tests are extremely difficult if you decide not to do ALL of the exercise questions for practice. As a teacher, he is very helpful and is not afraid to repeat himself, reteach concepts, or take credit for your busy weekend doing math homework. Overall best teacher i've had.

Scott is simply amazing, I haven't met any students that don't think he's one of the best, if not the best professor they have had. His is super smart, helpful, and clear. It's people like him that restore your faith in teachers. His assignments are time consuming, and his exams definitely require you to understand the class well.

Super intelligent but yet able to break any problem down to the level required by the student and with no attitude I might add.
