Comment:

One of the best professor at Frostburg without a doubt. He is very passionate about what he teaches and is very outgoing. He cracks a lot of DAD joke that are actually funny.

Comment:

Johnson is very funny and his lectures are always entertaining. He gives very detailed study guides which is super helpful. He seems like a very sweet guy and as long as you study you should be able to get an A or a B.

Comment:

Awesome guy. Hes really funny (accept the corny jokes and youll enjoy it) and easy to get along with. Attendance is mandatory, he takes roll and if you miss the lectures youll have to read a hefty amount of information. The lectures are visual and audio supplemented so its enjoyable.

I take POSC 110 with Prof. Johnson & I would 10/10 recommend. You don't even have to pay attention in the class in order to pass. He gives a study guide 1 week before tests with exact questions that are on the test. As long as you do the study guide and study that very good, easy A.

Comment:

A charismatic guy, prof Johnson is very, very caring about students. he is tough sometimes but he always helps if you need it. his lectures are riddled with jokes and stories that keep you engaged and focused. hes usually smiling and notifies you early for any cancellations. I recommend him for any class!

Dr. Johnson is a great professor. He is very clear about what he expects from his students. I went to every class and it was honestly beneficial. He really cares about student success and tries to make it easy. I would recommend taking him for any class you can! Overall, great professor who shares interesting information.

I had to take American Politics because it was required. I decided to take the summer course and boy do you have to work for a good grade. He takes off points for unknown reasons. You have discussions, quizzes, term paper (roughly 10 pages), movie review, and a final. NO MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS like his on campus classes. Be prepared to write!!

really good teacher, if you do the study guides that he gives you for test its almost an automatic B. just pay attention in class, take notes, and you honestly don't even need to study THAT hard, just be attentive. not necessary to read textbook, you just gotta look in it to find whats on study guide. overall cool guy.

Anyone who says he is hard or not helpful should not be in college. His tests are just like the study guide, so he really helps you out. He even gives you the essays. He gave us extra credit in one class just because nobody texted. He is approachable and is always making corny law jokes. Overall, take this class with Johnson.

Tests are 80% of the 500 points in this class! If you are not that good of a test taker DON'T take this class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He doesn't post on blackboard so you will never know what grade you have. Good luck to the average student if you take this class!

I went into this class not realizing the only grades that really matter are his tests. I think it was a total of 80% of my grade. So i bombed one of the tests and barley passed the other ones. He gives study guides so you know exactly what to study. Yet, he doesn't give good notes. Some of the terms are not even in the text book.

Dr. Johnson is a great professor who cares about what he is teaching. He gives study guides for the test and the tests are multiple choice. Only one paper is due at the end of the semester and he basically gives you the first page to copy. Go to class they're a ton of fun and he is pretty funny in a cheesy way. Would easily take again

I am a 2008 grad of FSU and I can say that I learned the most for my career and in life from Dr. Johnson. He makes his classes interesting and fun. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone currently at FSU. You'll be glad you did.

Johnson was awesome. I have him for ORIE and Intro to american Politics. He is super easy to get along with and a decent grader. He shows interest in his students and is funny. I will deff be taking him again if i get the chance.

He is so funny and so nice! I have him for my ORIE, IDIS 150 and POSC 110. He is probably my fav teacher so far. You will need the book for studying but he doesnt really use it in class. Take notes and do the study guides and you will do great! TAKE HIS CLASSES!
