One of the best profs I've had so far. Very clear and knows what he's talking about. His tests are hard but if you go to class everyday and do all his homework you can get an A.

Comment:

Very clear presentations and the grading was above fair. Some of the concepts were very difficult because MATH 2015 is only a co-requisite. So the content with surface integrals happens far before you learn what those ARE. He did his best considering, but he spent far too much time talking about his personal projects.

He's a great prof in and out of the classroom, really laid back and always willing to help, the guy is a genius and he knows his stuff, made a really abstract and weird class approachable. He gives pretty tough assignments, but they really prepare you for the tests, so a good grade is possible.

Prof Menary is so chills and laid back. His assignments are reasonable and it's not too difficult to get a good mark on them. I didn't go to a lot of the lectures but if you do the assignments, past tests, and understand the concepts, the midterms shouldn't be too challenging. The exam was VERY fair as well.

His method of teaching is really horrible. He doesn't use ppts, mumbles a lot, and makes you all asleep. Might be a good guy but he certainly can't keep a class interested during the lectures

The best prof at yorku. I asked him what seemed to me a very difficult question to me and he just made it so easy. He truly cares about students understanding and bell curves a lot to help people out. A really nice and smart guy, he has a command on physics. The trick to his courses are you just have to listen to everything he says and do it.

Menary looks like a cool prof. He beats around the bush a lot. I don't know where brings the problems from they are insanely hard though some will make your concepts crystal clear and other downright are incorrect.He is very lazy and don't even care to make a test just gives you previous years exams so if you have them you will ace the course.

E and M is a pretty hard course, but Prof Menary makes it so interesting! He wants you to succeed and even though this is not my best subject i still did OK. His tests and problem sets are murder though...regardless of your final mark you will come out knowing more!

Just one thing - needs to speak up, he can't be heard from the back of the small 100-student lecture hall. Other than that his lectures were ok. He says he's fair and I guess he is when it comes to marking, but he does everything his way, pretty wierd way and his tests are quite different in format from other profs'.

Prof Menary is extremly helpfull, he is always around in his office, and he never refuses to answer a question. His tests are very challenging, but once you get use to his style you'll be fine. He always gives the students plenty of oppurtunity to improve their marks
