Comment:

Really good lectures, he makes them super interesting and seems very interested and knowledgeable with the material. Very approachable and always open to meeting with students. Gives helpful feedback on papers and assignments. Usually takes attendance but its not a big part of the grade.

Comment:

Dr. Kennedy was my supervisor in the MA program, I definitely learned more from him than any other prof I have ever had in university (including law school where I went after). One of the nicest, most considerate, people I know, almost to a fault and an incredible and engaging lecturer at that. I consider myself lucky to have been taught by him.

Dr. Kennedy is one of the best History profs I've ever had. He genuinely cares about his students and follows feedback. He is always willing to set up meetings or talk after class regarding any questions or helping ensure that his students succeed. He has a real interest in what he teaches. I would take all of his courses if I could!

He is the reason I took History at UNB. I took 4 classes from him and I wish I could have taken more! Sign up right now before his classes fill up - because they will. But he's such a nice guy he'll probably get the lecture switched to a bigger room to accommodate everyone.

Travel Study - so lectures were different from class rooms, but I loved them. Nothing like sitting in front of a historic place and hearing all about why the building behind you is so important. He knew is stuff very well and just as important, was great at giving the information to his students. Looking forward to more classes with him!

Best professor I've had so far here at UNB. Syllabus is detailed, organized, and incredibly easy to follow. If you do not take a course with him you will seriously missed out. Unfortunately, he is not teaching next year, but if you're here in 2014/2015 you'll be able to see for yourself.

I've never been a history fan, but last year ended up in Kennedy's class as an elective, and it became my favourite class. Now I'm seeking out as many of his classes as possible. He makes the material interesting and is hands down the best prof I've ever had the pleasure of learning from!

Such an amazing prof! I took this class in my first year and it helped me incredibly. Everything is layed out and essays have a detailed syllabus. I was really disappointed that he's not offering any courses I can take next year.

I've taken every history class possibile with him. He's by far the easiest to work with, he's understanding and fair. He can take any subject and teach it well. Even in fields that are no his expertise, he's incredibly knowledgable. The Best overall Prof I've ever had.
