He didn't allow to take a photo for his lecture. His lecture is all handwriting and he wrote so fast that the only thing you can do in the lecture is writing without thinking. If you ask questions after class he rarely answers you. So basically, study 223 all by yourself.

A great lecturer, really makes his mission that students understand the material. The homework assignment are fair and can usually boost your mark. His tests are tricky, you must really understand the material in order to get a good mark, cant just memorize the process of how to do a question

Solid prof. If you did well in MAT223, MAT224 wouldn't be extremely hard as some people said. He explained everything well and the level of difficulty of the tests were reasonable based on your quiz and homework.

His notes are crystal clear and way easier to understand than the textbook, just make sure you have it if you fail to catch up with him in class. I think he is very systematic and gives you the intuition behind the abstract concepts, very helpful and important. Highly recommend him as a lecturer.

His lecture is really well-organized. Dont skip any lecture because the lectures are continuous. Try to understand the examples which discuss in class and for MAT224, writing assignment is important to think deeply with linear algebra. He is a really good lecturer.

Sean Uppal is hands down the best prof in the mathematics department. He sincerely really cares about his students. I felt bad for him as he has to deal with first years who think they can do what they did in high school which is not study and then still expect an A. His tests are easy compared to the other math courses despite the low averages.

Rude. Be nicer to students - not everyone understands linear algebra terms on the first try, and people are shy. Just because some dude pulls out his phone at the back of the class doesn't mean he's trying to show you up and disrespect you.

Finally, we are using a clear written txtbk for 224, but now we are doing this weekly assignment, and received emails suggesting us to study them for midterms, which is hilarious because each assignment contains two useless questions that have no practical use, but MIGHT help our understanding. He's making this simple course way too devastating.
