Dr. Robidoux is one of the greatest teachers out there - this comes with a cost though as his exams are literally the hardest I've ever come across. Writing down every detail he mentions is essential, as well as going to SL if you want above a C. He made me love organic chemistry! I had an A- in the course but tanked the final (don't do that)

Best professor (period!). He knows how to break down complicated topics and teaches them with such organization and clarity, and this just shows how well his lectures are thought-out. Nonetheless, it's a tough class, but if you write down all the notes well (including what HE SAYS), go to SL and review regularly, you will learn SO much.

His teaching style works really well for me, his reactions makes sense. Take notes on everything because he doesn't post anything online, but his tests are exactly like samples he gives. If SL is available I found that was really helpful to stay on top of course material, at the end of org 2 the course really speeds up with reactions so be ready.

Hands down one of the best teachers in Concordia. He is very thorough when going through the material and tells you exactly what you need to know for the midterm. !!! Make sure to go to his office hours after doing the sample midterm because its very similar to the midterm so he can tell you in details what he expects!!!

Dr. Robidoux is amazing. I took him for org 1, 2 & 3 and I can honestly tell you that he is one of the best teachers at Concordia. He's a tough grader but organic is a hard subject, especially org 3. He makes you work for it, in a way to understand the material. There are surprise quizzes but they help you keep on top of things. Do NOT fall behind.

I've learned so much with Dr. Robidoux and I wish I had him for organic 1 and 2. Be ready to put in your best effort and thoroughly study the material right after you learn it because it's really easy to fail and fall behind. PRACTICE!!! Presents the material and the grading scheme very clearly. Very available. Clarifies what he'll test us on.

His courses have been the toughest I've ever taken, due to the material and his pickiness in grading. However, he's the gold standard of an amazing prof, explains organic with ABSOLUTE thoroughness, and tells you what exam questions will be. Don't fall behind, go to SL, and practice everything frequently! If you want to learn org, he's the guy.

I struggled in his class in the beginning, but did really well for the final. If you don't go to go see him with the practice tests, then his marking appears really hash. Once I had time to finally see him, I understood exactly what he wanted and did really well on the final, which as a result allowed me to pass his class. Take time to go see him.

Lectures are very organized & tests are fair. Do not expect to do problems in class only theory so SL sessions are essential. He is a VERY picky grader, learning how he marks is a class within itself. I would highly recommend attending as many SL sessions as possible otherwise the questions on his exams may come as a surprise. CANT SKIP CLASS!

If you're in behavioural neuroscience... take a prof who grades less strictly or DO NOT take a full course load, focus on this subject. If you actually want to learn organic chemistry, take him but make sure to never miss a class and go see him in office hours even if you feel totally lost, it's a must and he is super nice and patient 1 on 1

What a guy! I took 3 of his classes. The course criteria were always clear and the exams reflected the curriculum. He would always be thorough in providing feedback in his office hours, but don't expect help or sympathy if you have no idea what is going on in class; do your homework. I loved the challenge.

He is a very good teacher! Many times in class he will tell you EXACLY what he is looking for on your exam which is convenient, just memorize his explanations. I had him for organic I and II, and the first was so easy but the second is so much more demanding! All in all, study A LOT and go see him all the time. DO NOT SKIP CLASS.

He is by far the most amazing teacher at concordia! You will learn so much with him. If you put the work and review your things you are pretty much guaranteed and A! I think his test are very fair but he is a picky grader! Go see him with the practice exams at his office before doing the exam and you can get over 90 in all the exams!

Dr. Robidoux is the ideal science professor. I've taken 4 of his classes. If your willing to work, you can always do well in his classes because there is logic and consistency in them so you know what you need to do. If he taught all my classes, I'd both know more and have better grades. Of course, most students don't do well in his classes.

He is a really picky grader, you must know your notes by heart or almost, and work regularily or you'll get lost during lectures. On the other hand, he really helps the student, answers every question, makes tutorials and more office hours before finals. Great teacher but tough grader.

He is honestly an amazing teacher. People kept scaring me with organic chemistry and i thought it was going to be the hardest class but it turned out to be a good class. He is a very tough marker so i suggest you go see him with sample midterms to get an idea of what he expects on the test. Also, ATTEND THE SL SESSIONS. Its really useful.
