The profs lectures were definitely funny, but my TA marked ridiculously! I even got her to look over my work b4 I handed it in, but she never gave anything above B to me... To do well: Asgts- Do ahead & get TA to check over 1st. MT- U get a cheat sheet! SOOO easy! Final- Exactly like the MT! Assignments R the only place 2 lose marx. Quizz- not bad.

Soooooo unclear about what he wants. He seems organized, and the slides are pretty helpful, but it's a sham in the end: assignment info is confusing and his grading is ridiculous. The grammar quizzes are unfair because he tests you on stuff you haven't learned yet. My friend's section was so much more manageable from what she said.

This guy is actually hillarious! He practically does standup comedy in the lecture! He's very specific about what he wants, but atleast you're well entertained while you work!

Well.. I don't even know where to begin. Dr. H. isn't very clear on what he is looking for in assignments, and he is a very hard marker. If it were not for out TA, Jesse, I would have gone crazy in that class. I know this is University, but his methods of teaching were very unreasonable. Best of luck!!

I took this class in my first year and he was the most horrible professor ever. He made the class a living hell. I'm from Newfoundland and he called all newfie's toothless fishermen which really made me mad. My final essay was on negative aspect of women in history and he went on some rant saying women were never treated bad. He was a jerk.

Yeah, he might of gotten a PhD in '79, but times have changed. He constantly says "um..." and jumps from one thing to another(=confusing!). If you ask him a question, he goes off on a tangent that usually has nothing to do with what you asked. He is NOT clear 99% of the time, and is very judgemental. And he wonders why the class average is so low.

This professor should recieve some recursive training on mannerism. The professor bluntly judges you based on what you look like. This guy should be out somewhere writing some sort of children's books on how to be unaccepting of others efforts. To me he's not a PHd, nor will he ever be. AVOID HIM, you'll do yourself a favour!

Though I didn't do well in the class, I loved to go just to hear his little jokes. He is seriously a cute man, but delerioius at times. I once was on a bus that almost ran him down. He was J walking in front of Arts, stopped in the middle of the road, and looked up at the bus; eyes wide.
