Shad started off the classes and then would hand it over to DBO when he showed up. I almost wish it would have been the other way around, though. Shad was a very good lecturer and he made class interesting. He is a great guy, too.

Awesome professor! He'll go over all the important parts of class at the beginning and then hand it over to Boren to tell stories. Incredibly helpful and is willing to go out of his way to make sure you understand the material.

Shad is a great professor. I was in President Boren's class and Shad was our other instructor, and I thoroughly enjoyed the lectures and discussions of both of them.

Great teacher. Funny, smart. Not sure what his political affliation is, but he did make us read Liberman's book. hmm... I did well but, at the end I realized that I was very close to the A/B line. So there's not much room for mess up's.

Shad is a great prof. This class was not bad, but I would def. study for the tests if you want to make an A. I know a lot of people who did badly on the first test because they had not studied all the material. But besides just coming to class and doing the work, Shad is always willing to work with you on anything.

He's an all-around great person as well as instructor! Really enjoyed his class and I generally do not have an opinion about Government classes. If you need to take Government, definitely choose him!!

Fun class with pretty easy work. just read the weekly readings because they appear on the tests. otherwise - it is a good class. he uses a lot of power point and movie clips.

While Boren tells old stories, Shad does the dirty work actually teaching us concepts and ideas from the textbook. While some of Boren's encounters with famous politicians had everyone in class holding their breath, Shad's lectures were more energetic.

Shad is the best teacher I've had in a looooooooong time! He was very helpful and I learned so much from him. He's also a very humorous person . . . if you get him in the fall be sure not to miss his class on Halloween!
