You never know what your grade is until the end. she doesn't hand back anything but the test. It feels pointless being in the class because she lectures word for word from the text. she seems like a really nice person but the class seems so pointless. she often forgets to take attendance. makes it seems pointless to be there.

She is extremely disorganized and has no idea what is going on. The class is super easy and she gives out a ton of extra credit opportunities, not that they are needed. If your looking for an easy A take her.

Any college student worth their salt knows SOC101 is pretty much a requirement for ANY Major. Just make sure you don't take it with her. Disorganized, no real system of grading, unclear instructions for homework/ papers. Not to mention there are alot of opinionated statements and uneducated guesses made on her part. Save the time, take online!

She is extremely disorganized. She must have someone explain where the class is in the chapter before starting, and then teaches what the book says word for word. She will cancel class quite a few times and have take home tests. You can judge for yourself. The class isn't straining and if you can get over how disorganized it is, you'll be fine.

She is AMAZING!!! I don't care what anyone says I love her accent as well as her teaching techniques! She is very involved with her students, really caring and always supports them to be involved in more than just school work! If u study enough and make sure you participate in her lectures you will have no problem getting an A from her =)

I would have to say coming from a family of educators that Shahin is the most intriguing professor yet. She lectures but also incorporates plenty of hands on activities. Also she allows us to do group work while she comes around to answer any questions we are having difficulty with. She also teaches to every type of learning style.

Prof. Monshipour shares her golbal perspective and relates how she had to adapt to coming to life in the US. She had my attention throughout the semester. I learned more about her culture and others than I ever would have just by reading the book. I highly recommend this professor.

First off, I'd say she cancels class atleast once a week.. or just doesnt show up. Second, the class itself is pretty easy. I didnt read the book, and still did good. You do need to pay attention during class because she sometimes speaks broken english and its hard to understand, but if you take notes and actually read them over you'll be fine.

She runs late for class! Also if it ticks you off to come to class to have her say she is sorry, but class is cancelled, then avoid her. I like her as a person, but find her disorganization frustrating.

Ms. Monshipour is very nice. She makes the class easy and interesting with useful examples. I enjoyed the course with her as the teacher. I recommend her to anyone and rate her a 9.5 out of 10.
