As said before - nice guy. I also found the class really interesting. However his approach to teaching the class is far too disorganized - especially for an upper division engineering class. There is also a group project for which he provided few instructions until the very end - i.e. one week before due date. Would not take again.

He is nice, but he can't teach. He says that project is some percentage of your grade but will say in the end that he won't issue any grade *for the entire course* if you didn't do, let's say one assignment related to project.

ENSC 488 is much easier with shahram than Kamal. My advice is to avoid 488 if you can..shahram lecture useless...assignment are same as previous years...he gives B- to B+ to everyone, but you would not learn anything..i learnt absolutely nothing in this course.....

such a bad prof. Majority of your mark comes from projects and the project guidelines are vague and useless. what's worse is that he takes marks off for things he didn't say should be in the project. If you ask him a question he just says "assume something" then marks you wrong for your assumptions.

Hez a nice guy, but can't teach! He doesn't send u the solns for the examples he does in class. Either copy down notes like crazy in class or sneak a digital camera in! The course is an insane amount of work! A LOT of stuff to learn on ur own! GoodLuck =P
