she knew her stuff but lectures tended to stray. She was also condescending to students who answered her questions in class. In addition to this she has no volume control and basically yells the whole 50 minutes in class.

Comment:

Sharon is a sweet woman and loves her job. She can be hilarious at times and is a relatively easy professor. Just don't get that stuck in your head, and actually for her tests or you will not do well. It was nice to have an easy class, but I was hoping to get a little more out of it. Overall, I would probably recommend her though.

Sharon is a nice, funny lady who knows her stuff-however she doesn't share alot of that knowledge with her students. I've basically learned nothing, though it is an easy A. She gets off topic extremely easily and can stay there, can make class torturous.

One of the best professors at the U. Take her if you can. She teaches in a way that allows you to appreciate the information taught, instead of dreading the memorization for tests. You will not regret taking her class--trust me!

Sharon is such a sweet woman! She truly cares about al of her students, and wants you to do well. Attendance is taken, but the lectures are interesting, and if you listen, the exams will be a breeze! Extra Credit is given as well. I highly recommend taking this class with her, I finished with an A and really enjoyed myself.

I LOVED SHARON. We didn't even have any exams in this class. booyah! She has a hilarious, dry sense of humor and does ramble in class but she's very knowledgeable. You can tell she loves what she does and it carries through in her classes. She brings in SO many interesting speakers. TAKE HER if you can!!

Professor Westphal is such a sweet woman. She really cares if YOU show interest in the class. Shes willing to give the benifit of the doubt but she knows who is "pulling her chain". Take this class. So worth it.

Great Professor, and she really cares about her students. Tests are all off key points she talks about in lectures and from the modules assigned. Do your daily reading and you are almost guaranteed an A in the class. Participation papers are super easy too. She also is pretty intriguing to watch during her lectures.

Graded on attendence so had to bring things to do in class so I didn't have to listen to her. When she strays away from Psych, eg. biology, 90% of the time she is making stuff up and WRONG and it was super annoying to listen to. Skimmed book the day before exams, finished with an A. Bored out of my mind.

This class is extremely easy. Skim the book and do the online quizzes and you'll do just fine. The only bad things are her voice (I just find it ridiculously annoying) and lack of organized lecture. No powerpoint; she just stands there and talks. Makes it VERY hard to pay attention--I basically sat on my laptop all semester and still got an A.

Failed the first test but professor westphal was amazing and helped me raise my grade and was able to get an A- in the class. All you have to do is the read the chapter and this class is an easy A. professor westphal is wonderful.

Unbelievably easy teacher and easy class. I only opened my textbook once and it was for a take home test. There is only one real test, and the rest are papers. Hard to get anything less than an A in this class. Lots of guest speakers, and they're really interesting to listen to. Highly recommend this class.

Hilariously easy, I haven't taken the final yet but I can get a 79 and still get an A in the class. Her lectures are pointless and she does a whole lot of rambling. I didn't take a single note in the class, all I did was read the book, write the papers, and own the exams, which are multiple choice and you can use intuition to figure out the answers
