This teacher is smart and talented. the only problem is his smugness and arrogance. When he isn't name dropping and flying around the world to bring us back stories of his famous friends he is very knowledgeable and charismatic. He should just concentrate more on teaching and less on building his cool factor!

As others have said, shawn is a really supportive teacher. He taught this class with his partner(?) and it was cute to watch the dynamic of the relationship, whatever it was, as they taught. Great as a team, but I imagine he would be equally good on his own.

thoroughly enjoyed the class. it was intriguing how so many separate topics were all drawn together in a cohesive manner. really loved that even though it was a seminar course we still got to create art, share it with the class and discuss it in regards to the class material.
