I'm a rels. major and I though she was the best teacher in the department if not the university as a whole. Her lectures were great and she has an awesome command of the subject. She explains her points clearly and is very helpful outside of class. Easy class and I learned more in this class than my NT course. I don't think she teaches here anymore

She was great for this class. She had very clear notes. I got an A- and almost never read the readings. The exams are pretty easy b/c she gives you an outline for what to study, and she gives you the places on maps and the timeline info you need to know for the test. Loved her for RELS 100.

She's a pretty cool teacher. The tests are somewhat challenging but definitely not impossible to get an A on. Go to class everyday and that's all you need to do. You don't have to do the readings if you go to class. She's funny and nice and, for the fellas, she's pretty cute too :)

She is a very bright woman. There are a lot of reading assignments, but no long papers. The tests are slightly difficult, however, as long as you go to class, take notes and review, you will do fine. I took it over the summer in 6 weeks and even got an A. I deff. reccomend this lady

Dr. Overton is a bit dry when it comes to lecturing. She doesn't seem to make any effort to know her students on a personal basis (probably because her classes have about 50 students each). Her T.A., Mark, is a better instructor than she is.

She's a great prof., and extremely knowledgeable. There are a lot of readings, but she basically covers them in lecture. Class is really interesting, and her occasional sarcasm makes it all the better. Tests may seem difficult, but the TA grades really easy. Definitely my fav class this semester!

Very interesting class, and she is very knowledgable on the subject. Go to class and read! Quizzes and tests are mostly ID and essay and require recall more so than recognition. A fair amount of notes and reading, but it's nothing you can't handle.
