She is my favourite professor so far at University of Waterloo. She gives really interesting lectures and is also really funny in class. She's extremely friendly and easy to talk to if you're unclear about something discussed in class.

By far my favorite professor at Waterloo! Very easy to talk to, definitely fair with grades and tests, extremely passionate about Classical Studies! Although I said attendance isn't mandatory, you really shouldn't miss her class, she's wonderful! Should really read the textbook too, she does include content into your tests.

Dr. Ager is one of my favourite professors at Waterloo. She is extremely helpful and her classes are a pleasure to attend. She doesn't write much on her powerpoints but goes into great detail in lectures so attendance is mandatory I highly recommend taking her class.

Intro class covered a great deal of material. Midterms tested how well you memorized parts of the textbook (Fill in the blank, multiple choice, matching, brief identify and state the significance). Ager is a great prof, really funny. Guest lecturers are hit or miss. Unfortunately, many are really boring. Interest in classics a must.

A very nice and funny professor. I have nothing negative to say except that if you miss a class and try to use the powerpoint to catch up on what you missed, you will not get much information because they are very brief notes with no supporting details. The textbook isn't very useful so attendance is MANDATORY.

she is a very good prof when she is lecturing but this course has many guest speakers that sometimes talk too fast. she tests on material not covered in class that are only in the textbook and sometimes the tests seem unfair. good class.

She is a wonderful professor. I've always been interested in Classical Studies but she's actually been so fantastic that it's made me want to major in it. Some of the guest lecturers that she brings in tend to cover material too quickly but she usually helps to fill you in on the things that you may have missed.

PHENOMENAL Professor! Classes are really interesting and she brings in really cool things like Coins that say Αλεξανδρος :). She's very easy to talk to and will answer any questions that you have. Simply amazing!

Would ALWAYS recommend a class by her. She is a fair marker (with fair tests), and is VERY helpful if you have questions. She knows what she is lecturing about and if you have questions 99% of the time she has an answer. She is also VERY nice! Her lectures are thorough in this class so you don't really need the textbook.

Love this course and this prof. The downside would be that she only does about 1/3 of the lectures herself (the rest are visiting profs--some are very good and some are very bad). Tests are fair and relatively easy 2 midterms (MC, Fill in the blanks, matching, identify) Final exam has an essay

She's a good marker and is interesting during the lectures its a 50/50 between lecture and book. but for the mid term you can either right a paper or a test and the test is rather easy. shes a good teacher i'd recomend her
