Sheila is simply amazing. She is one of the most helpful professors I have had. She goes out of her way to help her students and is full of great tips on how to study. Her weekly homeworks were good and the labs went well with the class material. However, her explanations can be a little confusing at times, but she will help if you ask her.

Sheila Browne is easily one of the best professors I've ever had. Her class is hard and a lot of work, but she genuinely cares about her students. I found going to her office hours to talk one-on-one to be super helpful, and talking to her always made me feel better.

Sheila is amazing. I took a first year seminar with her and it was very interesting. Her teaching may get somewhat disorganized at times and she'll write all over the board, but at the end of the day she's easy to understand and her class if fun. Also, very helpful to know her if you're a Chem major.

I had Sheila for Orgo I and Orgo II. She is the most amazing professor I've ever had. I was always really bad at chemistry, but with her help I did really well. You just have to do the homework and study what she says is going to be on the test.

Really wonderful professor. Lectures are a bit disorganized, but she does everything she can to get her students to understand the material. She really understands how students learn, so she's very understanding. She also gives tips on how to study the different material which I found to be very helpful.

Sheila is a good professor, but she has favorites. I don't know if it's intentional, but it's clear. I don't like feeling like I need to be an orgo genius or play rugby or do crew for her to like me. Otherwise, I think she is a great professor who wants her students to succeed. Her bubbly personality helps make lectures enjoyable.

Disorganized, distracted, fussy. Very helpful if you talk to her in person, but not a great lecturer - Darren is way better at actually teaching. Maybe if Sheila actually lectured in an organized, coherent manner people wouldn't have to go to her for help all the time. Sometimes feels like her 'everyone should succeed' penalizes good students.

I hated chemistry before taking Orgo, Sheila is hilarious, an excellent explainer, very motherly, and makes you feel like you can do anything. She really cares about her students, and genuinely wants them to do well. She does not teach directly from the book. You are free to ask her questions at anytime and she is very accomadating.

I never thought i would like organic chemistry. Sheila was wonderful. And hilarious. And made chemistry fun after a horrible gen chem experience. Sometimes makes confusing mistakes in class, but this is just due to human error. And it is more valuable that she does everything on the board as opposed to ppt. She is welcome to correction and superb.

Sheila is without a doubt an awesome professor. She is a great lecturer and does a fantastic job of emphasizing what you need to know. Her sense of humor makes even the most painful subjects easier to handle. There is a lot of "busywork" but if you're a good student you'll do fine and love the class!

Just alright... WAY too much work. I feel like I'm punished for being a good student and bad students are rewarded. Really disorganized. Sometimes she tells funny stories, but they're offset by her occasional bad moods.
