Comment:

Ms. Squillante was my favorite teacher this semester. Her classroom is a warm environment and she's the kind of person you feel like you can talk about anything with. Used EAA and Penn Statements a little. Barely used Woe Is I. You can probably get by by just perusing your friends' books. Her office hours are really helpful as well.

Sheila is great! Very relaxed and informal (No pretentious Dr. title). I've learned a lot so far. I'm a senior science major, and they beat all of the creativity out of us with formal lab reports. It's nice to have some of that back. A lot of reading, and a lot of "journal" writing homeworks - but it's an English class. What would you expect?

i love having Sheila. She made class interesting and the atmosphere was very laid back. I had her for creative writing, and she made even a boring section fun. she's tough but understanding and always willing to help. her teaching style is alsos fun and helpful

Sheila was an awesome teacher! I really liked her class. She tried to make things fun and was creative. She's super nice and tries to include all her students in discussion. Her classroom had such a positive atmosphere and she taught me a lot about writing. I would definitely recommend her. Take her as a teacher!

Sheila is probably the most concerned professor I've had. She genuinely wants her students to do well & is willing to put the time in to help them. If your interest in writing is valid, she's your professor. P.S. be nice to her, she doesn't deserve any jackassery.

Sheila is a great professor. She is clear and her lectures are both entertaining and intelligent. She's very approachable, almost like a best friend. Her grading is a little unpredictable, but I think it's damn near impossible to get less than a C. Great learning atmosphere, I recommend her!
