Professor Kane is fair but she doesn't play around. You MUST read the material if you want to pass the class. She has class discussions instead of lectures. They get interesting. She does e-mail her students back. I would say a 1 out of 10 she is about a 7

I completely recommend taking this class and having her as a professor. It was probably the best class i have ever taken in my entire life. The class was so great and i really love her as a professor. she really knows what she is taking about and there was never a boring class.

Human sex is supposed to be a FUN class. She takes it to the extreme reading the textbook is totally mandatory. Beware although not impossible, the final and midterm are RIDICULOUS. She doesn't talk about them in class therefore you should know everything she's went over. God forbid you talk or use your phone in class. Can be ok on occasion.

Shelli Kane is an innovative,concerned,well informed teacher.....her classes require participation and interaction among the students which makes each session very exciting...she is extremely non- judgemental and gains her student's trust...I enjoyed this class and would highly recommend her

Im in her human sexuality class right now & im not positive how i feel about her. We just had our midterm & it wasnt THAT hard but if you don't take your own notes or read the text you will fail. She knows her stuff without a doubt but isnt the nicest lady. i have to admit i have learned a lot of stuff i never knew.

She is a pretentious cow of a woman! She is not clear at all about the assignments and loves to hear herself speak the whole time. She only cares about her own opinion and says that you are wrong if she doesn't like what you have to say. I hate her voice too! It makes me want to strangle everyone in the room!

Interesting class but she is not helpful when it comes to tests and projects. Two test's, one project and class participation make up the grade in her class. I thought the project was stupid and her test's are 100% based on the reading however she let's you use your hand written notes. Just prey to god that the notes are the correct information

she is great ...its an easy class as long as you do the work there is no textbook all she asks is for you to participate its a huge part of class. I have learned a lot about life and death and it really opens your eyes to a lot of things She is an excellent teacher but tough on you if you don't do the work. I love her, favorite class

She is such a horrible professor, you might start to feel bad for her at her inability to do her own job. But you don't, because she allows you to feel only awful emotions towards her and her entire course. When I went to drop her class, the department wasn't very surprised. I guess it's not a rare occurrence.
