She was my absolute favorite teacher at JSC (class of 02) and inspired my to go on and become a psychotherapist. Psych of Religion and Peace and War were amazing!

One of the worst teachers/professors I've ever had. She killed my interest in the subject when it was my favorite in high school. If you want a teacher who is articulate, interesting, or even just one you can stand switch out of her class immediately.

Students told we are "underpriviledged and disadvantaged" because we attend state college. Didn't advise textbook required until first class. Uses grad-level textbook written for clinicians. Refuses to teach basic concepts & techniques of art therapy, yet expects that level of understanding from students. Lacks professional standards & ethics.

Have you ever seen the movie "Donnie Darko"? Think the health/gym teacher. Put an 'x' on the lifeline where you think is appropriate or else you get a zero for the day. We watched that vhs tape the Mormons send to everyone for free. She tried to convince me that, if the room full of people believed there was a bear in the middle of the room, and i said there wasn't, I would be the one at fault.

This professor teaches subjects that she is not fully educated on. She also does not take the time to meet with students outside the class to discuss progress (or anything else for that matter). Has a very negative attitude.

She is not a good teacher. She has these ideals of what is expected, however she does nothing to teach you or clue you in on what she is thinking.
