For everyone who has to suffer through GSW Sherri is the best choice if she's available! She knows it is a tedious required course&works hard to waste as little time as possible. She gave my class so many different handouts and resources to help &was easily reachable for help. I passed with flying colors once the portfolio was done

Sherri is a wonderful instructor. She fully understands that GSW is super tedious and does her best to get you through it. She doesn't waste her students time, but really takes the time to get to know her class. She gives great feedback and suggestions. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

This class was an easy A. Professor Doust speaks to students on their level and understands that only a few people actually ENJOY writing classes. She expects papers to be 4-8 pages in length (double-spaced) and she makes these assignments as painless as possible. The worst part about the class is the department's required "Group Essay".

Sherri was such a great professor. She provided us students with a ton of resources that helped facilitate the writing of our papers. She gave great feedback and told you exactly what you needed to improve on. She was incredibly kind and truly caring towards the success of her students. Definitely recommend her class!

BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. She loves to make sure no one is having a rough time, and literally trys to make the class painless. She is so nice, so helpful, and so awesome. I've heard bad things about other GSW1120 professors and it really made me thankful to have Sherri. TAKE YOUR GSW CLASS WITH HER!

LOVED THIS PROFESSOR! As much as I hated 8 am classes I took her this spring (2013) and she made the class way more bearable. She was always willing to help when I needed it. VERY helpful always did what she could to make enough revisions to a students paper to make sure they got a good grade! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

One of the best professors I've had at Bowling Green thus far. She is super says to communicate with and her feedback on essays is always very helpful. She wants all of her students to do well and provides plenty time and resources for doing just that. Class is canceled a lot to which is nice when doing other classes work. Definitely recommended!

As someone who found the class to be an unnecessary detour, I appreciated Sherri's attempt to make the course as painless as possible. Busywork is thrown aside and the focus remains on the four essays you're required to write. With that said, if you did need the additional help, she was extremely open to answering questions and providing feedback.

Sherri is awesome. She'll proofread all of your essays for you and provides extremely helpful feedback - she truly wants every student to pass. The way she sets up the requirements for each essay allows students to choose a topic that interests them. She also cancels or lets class out early a lot.
