One word: HARD! Not even kidding. She is HARD! Do not be fooled by how nice she is (and she's a nice lady). Her class is NOT easy. Random pop quizzes, 2 reaction papers, 1 oral presentation, and a final paper on difficult material.If you take this teacher, good luck. This class will take up a LOT of your time.

Terrible to say the least and mean the most.If you want a professor who refuses to listen to your opinion about literature and quiz you line by line about 8 different poems by one author then you should definitely take her if not you might as well staple your eyes open because there is no way this class could be interesting she is horrible.

A monotonous lesson plan, to say the least. I have been getting little out of our almost daily circle discussions and she has hardly tried to inspire her students' interest in the subject of her class. It's not so much learning as it is staring at the blackboard and hoping that it's over.

Rigid, not interested in listening to anyones opinion. Inconsistent and mean marker. Huge amounts of busy work. The most tedious class I've ever taken. Class participation is activly discouraged, and this was a graduate class. This professor has no respect for her students and shows it.

She really makes you work, but she rewards you for that effort. I worked my butt off and got one of the few A's of my final year at SDSU. I wish I could have taken her class sooner--it would have prepared me for any other lit class. I was happy that she officiated at my graduation so I could shake her hand.

This woman was a one-way street. There was no room for discussion; it was her way or else. I ended up taking an F (thanks to State's ridiculous drop policy) and retaking the class with Ornatowski, getting a B+. Worst teacher I had at State, period.

Not helpful. Two-faced. She'll smile pretty but watch out, because she'll "grind her axe" when she thinks she's free and clear to do so. She's into her power and position. Make her feel important and you'll do well.

People on this site only have axes to grind it seems. Prof. Little is one of the smartest Lit profs I've ever taken a class with. Listen and Learn, you will learn if you pay attention, you will learn a lot.

Without a doubt the worst, most ineffective, embittered, discouraging professors I've had in my entire college career. Flowers wilt when she walks by. Class was one of the worst experiences of my adult life. I really cannot say enough negative things about this professor. Suicide is preferable.

She is mean and not willing to help. Very smart, but cruel and incredibly boring. Blue hair has got to get some humor in her life...she's incredibly rigid. Don't expect her to try to help you. Inconsistent grader. Learned a lot though.
