Comment:

Dr. Sullivan is one of the few teachers who really made me feel as though she cared about me as a person rather than just another grade in her class. She was always encouraging, understanding, and available to talk to. She is fun and not the type to overload students, but she does everything in her power to make sure they succeed. Can be confusing.

A pretty cool lady. Not very many points in the class so study for exams. A large portion of the grade comes from a service learning group project. Pick a dependable group for the project as it takes a lot of outside, charity work. Takes notes and read the chapters. She genuinely cares about you learning the material for sure.

Took her for a summer class. Not many points in the class, maybe 180, 150 being exams. Small quizzes were able to be taken unlimited times. She's funny and always there to help. Exams were information straight from the book or her notes.

Very little error for getting a good grade in this class, not much hw given and everything is based on timed exams. Tests are really tough, she doesn't really go with the book or her notes, its like lets see if this stick kinda of questions. Sometimes I think Prof are out of touch with the real world. Academia isn't real world.

The online exams are horrible, yes they are mostly from the book, but you only get like a minute to answer each question. Thats crazy, why do teachers do this? But if I took an exam in person they would have to give me less questions and probably more time to do it! I really don't understand teachers logic when they do this. Its dumb.

Exams are decently hard, make sure you study. She just goes on and on and on with her lectures and repeats herself a lot which makes my brain crazy. Attendance not really necessary, but you should read (get the earliest edition for cheapest) and come when there are lectures.

BEST TEACHER EVER. Very hard class to get A or B & tons of work. She knows everyone by name & really cares about you as a person. Wish I could take more classes with her. She knows the material & tries to make it interesting but the material is very dry. My friend took the other prof teaching the course & got an easy A so tht is the only downside

Dr. S is WONDERFUL. The best professor at the university. WARNING: She is a hard grader. This is the first C I got in 4 years but I learned so much it was worth the hard work. In 8 years of college at three different schools and almost all the way through a Ph.D., I have never taken a class that was mailed in as much as Sherry Sullivan's MGMT 3610. She made no effort to impart any information whatsoever. Her class is just fine if you don't care about completely wasting your time -- if you do, take someone else.

She is a super easy teacher, come to class, take a few notes, study them, and you are golden. Tests are straight from the in-class notes. Class is only 100 point, but it has to be one of the easiest classes I have taken here at BG. I actually learned something too!!! Deff would recommend her for a prof.

I agree that Dr. Sullivan should be taken seriously. She is one of the best at BGSU - and certainly THE BEST in Management. I ran a Google search on her name and found that she is not only good in Management but a leader in Global Entrepreneurship. I would LOVE to take a class from her in entrepreneurship. Expect to work, learn, and then earn.

I agree that a lot of students shouldn't take her classes. I took her and ended up at a top British University for graduate school. Others can not take her and end up working at McDonalds [practice saying - "do you want fries with that"]. She is great and I am thankful to her and how she challenges students to USE OUR MINDS! What a novel idea.

Her class is ridiculous. It is composed of 100 points...literally. The final is only worth 2 POINTS! You do not get any credit for in class assignments or for the days you actually have to teach the class. She is unfair and doesn't seem to know how to teach. I will never take her again!
